Seen my scars for the first time.. scary!
Well tape was changed over the weekend.... I forgot how scary the early scars can be... I now have 2 quite long scars under each breast as my lollipop lift was changed to a full anchor. The scars are only 3 weeks old so they are raised, red and angry looking. I had to look at my old photos of my original surgery to remind myself this is how my vertical scars looked as I was quite shocked how frankenstein they look! They are very neat though and they are exactly as my other scars were at this stage and they healed beautifully so I know they will be fine but I found it hard to take in having these extra scars and I actually cried a bit when I saw then as I dont think I had realised how much more extensive an anchor lift is compared to a lollipop lift! That said I am very happy and its been worth it as the shape is a lot better although the one down side is I seem to have dropped a cup size from the extra skin that has been cut away! Its worth it though for the better shape and contour!

I actually increased in cupsize... Don't ask how that happened. This whole sizing thing is a total enigma to me
The scars will be barely noticeable when healed lovely. I had to have mine cut wider than the breast to the outsides because I had to have a capsulectomy too. At first I thought they'd be seen and I was devasted, but now then barely be seen at all and if the scars are as neat as you say... You'll have nothing to worry about lovely. Xx

Hi 5stonedown, I just wanted to say that I am dreading that bit. Right now I just have new full boobies kind of Barbie looking (for now) and I am v happy, but lurking under my pink sports bra which just shows a decent cleavage, is tape n bandages n the scarring that I will have to get used to. Posts like urs (and ur pics) will really help me when it comes to my turn to have the tape off. As u said at least u know they will heal well. And u have got a shape that looks fab! X

I wish I gained a cup size like you Cookie!! I often wish I'd gone with the 420 high profile or 485 extra high profile that I was offered but I was scared of going to big and scared of them sagging again! I am still happy though but if I have them replaced in the future I think I will go bigger! I hope they do become barely noticeable as the scars extend further than I imagined they would and I am also worried about them being noticeable in skimpy clothing! Balletbabe I just looked at your pics and you look amazing.. seeing the scars is scary when you have had an uplift as they are extensive but they do fade and in my experience they fade well and fast and my vertical scars were almost invisible before they were opened up again!!
