So, how come none of you girls every mentioned the topic of your armpits!! Its something that I never thought about until I looked under mine about three days post op and realized, "holy hell!! My armpits are hairy and theres not much I can do about them!!!"
You know how embarrassing it was to get my drains out?!
"Hey doc, sorry if you have a hard time finding the stitch holding in my drains doc, I know they blend RIGHT into all the nasty hair under there" Hysterical
SO EMBARRASSING!!!!
So, for all you pre-op chicks, make sure you are prepared for hairy armpits....theres really not a whole lot you can do about it them! :heehee:

LOL, I just had all me hairy bits waxed hairy scary armpits! 557141

I wasn't up to much post-op so having waxed everywhere it one thing I didn't have to worry about. xx

ha ha ha this really made me chuckle. not something i had thought about much..... at all really actually. however, i will bear it in mind once the op is done, perharps even the wax them the day b4 i go in. x

The pain was worth it though babe, I couln't even lift my arms to shave if I wanted to, and legs and 'coughs' me flower.... I couldn't bend to do them... I could have managed me muzzy though, but thought whilst I was getting the rest done I may as well get that done too hairy scary armpits! 557141

Ohhh, that sucks!! I've got myself booked for an armpit wax (along with everything else-wax) right before my surgery so I *hopefully* don't have to worry about it while I can't lift my arms!!

The good news is you're boobs are looking bloomin SPECTACULAR in your avatar, Macmama!!! Congratulations on THAT!!

I've shaved mine since my BA - I use a razor with built in soap block thingie. (God my brain has been mush since the GA!! I can't think of simple words!) I've managed to have a shallow bath to wash and then just run the damp razor over my armpits!



I haven't had any pain raising my arms, not sure why but i've def been a lucky one!

i got my other half to help me do mine. Sounds grim, but i used to get him to do my bikini area when i was pregnant too, so he didnt bat an eyelid.

I made sure I was prepared too and had mine waxed, there was no way I was seeing my ps at my post-op with hairy pits.

I epilate my legs and underarms and go to get my foo foo waxed,
Will definately be making sure I have all this done before my BA!

I've had a bit of armpit fluff grow back since my op and used to struggle shaving them pre-op as my armpits went in so deep after losing so much weight. Now I'm wondering how I'm gonna negotiate my side boob! Not that I'm complaining seeing as I've wanted boobs all my life! x x x

i plucked my armpits....dont ask!! sounds weird, but it doesnt hurt, n its time consuming, but on my day off from work a few weeks before my surgery, i saw a stray hair, n plucked it....then saw another....and then got carried away n did my whole pit!! they take AGES to grow back, so by the time my surgery came, they didnt need doing. though my lovely boyf did offer to shave them for me! Blush
