red itchy sore cleavage
Hi,
My cleavage is very red , ,sore ans itchy.
I can't even fit a finger in between my boobs.
Any idea what I can use without taking my sports bra and band off?
Thanks

Re: red itchy sore cleavage
The sternum does swell and get pretty sore hun. I found ice-packs helped loads through this. For the itching, you may want to take some piriton to help ease that.
If the redness has appeared all of a sudden though and not through rubbing any soreness or anything it may be worth just calling your hospital to ask advise on that. Nothing to panic over so don't worry, its just best to ask advise if 'the redness' has appeared suddenly. Xx

Re: red itchy sore cleavage
After my first op my cleavage was very sore and lifted. It stayed raised for weeks and weeks post op and it was the most uncomfortable part of my recovery... its raised slightly again after this second op but not as much as the first time. As cookie has already said ice packs really help.

As the girls have said ice packs can help, you may want to moisturise the area as it can become very dry and sore as the skin stretches, just keep the moisturiser away from scars. Someting with aloe vera in can help cool and relieve itching
