itchy itchy!
hi,
i got my ba on thursday the 29th Oct, so am 3 days po. my question is, is it normal to feel quite itchy under bra - sort of along scar line? also, my new boobs seem to go out a bit at the sides (side boob look to them) which is making me feel a bit fat!! will this go away as they drop down or do i just need to get used the new shape of me??
thanks to anyone that can advise.

Re: itchy itchy!
My boobs are pointing slightly outwards - i got mine a day before you. And I itched like crazy - but I have put that down to not just the healing process but the sticky band I have around the top of my boobs, and also over the dressings. Its calmed down today - i put a tiny amount of aqueous cream on the really itchy bits and its much better.
Im pretty sure the direction of our boobs will change as there are so many changes ahead!!

Re: itchy itchy!
Ahh yes the itching! Perfectly normal. Try putting a cold flannel on them. From what I remember it didn't last that long.
I had massive side boobage too (still do a bit) but then my boobs were quite far apart to begin with so its to be expected I guess.

Re: itchy itchy!
I had the itching a bit later than you, so your scars must be healing really well. It's all normal. As for side boob, I had and still have it, I think they went down a bit, either that or I just got used to it, I'm not sure.
Re: itchy itchy!
thanks all, glad these posts cause much hilarity to those that have been through it all before!! it's just i keep analysing how i'm doing and panicking that things arn't normal :)
thanks again, will just have to suffer for a bit with the itching then!
