Weight of implants and weighing yourself!
Hi Just had a thought this morning when standing on the scales (trying to lose few pounds before the enforced no-exercise post op), my implants together will weigh nearly 2 pounds (850g so 1.8lbs). When u weigh yourself post op do/will you take off the weight of your implants?!! x

Ha ha yes think that will be me too! Just wondered if your weight plus 2lbs becomes your new "official" weight in your head or will u always subtract it off!? I worked v hard to lose nearly 20lbs after having my babies, so pretty sure I will always be in the camp of subtracting 2 off!x

After losing just over 168lbs via lots of hard work I will most certainly be always subtracting two off whether anybody likes it or not!haha :) In fact if medical professionals weigh me at any future hospital appointments I may hint that they should do the same! ;) Well done you on losing the 20lbs! xxx

Re: Weight of implants and weighing yourself!
Implants dont actually weigh as much as you think they might. to determine your implants weight, you can use this method:
The total weight of both of your implants is 1.96875
That's just over a pound and a half babe. I include my implant weight always. They're a part of me now and therefore their weight too is mine. X
Multiply the number of cubic centimeters by two, then multiply that number by .0375 (which is the weight in ounces of each cc of silicone) then divide by 16 (ounces).
So, if you have 400 ccs of silicone per breast there are 800 ccs total.
800 ccs multiplied by .0375 equals 30.
30 divided by 16 (ounces) is 1.875.
This means your total breast implant weight is 1.875 pounds.
The total weight of both of your implants is 1.96875
