weighing before ba?
my weight fluctuates massively. I am quite slim so sometimes this means my bmi is under the normal range. will this stop me getting surgery?
could anyone tell me precisely when you are weighed before a ba and how many times etc

Re: weighing before ba?
Hello and welcome to Breast Buddies Sallymae
You will be weighed at your pre-op and your height too will also be checked so they can check you have a healthy BMI for surgery, so you should be aware lovely that if they don't think you have a healthy BMI your surgery could possibly be postponed until you've gained weight.
Everything is gone though again on your surgery day. I personally wasn't weighed again on my surgery day but if the anaesthetist feel there may be reason for concern this could be requested from you again on the day of surgery too hun. X

who is it who perform the pre-op by the way?
is it always at the same hospital you will be operated in? as the one I am looking to book with is quite far away!

Re: weighing before ba?
I had my pre op with the nurse, and I was weighed. I was also weighed on surgery day aswell. If your weight goes up and down by quite a bit, it will affect how your new boobies look and feel. I was warned by my surgeon before surgery that any weight loss should be before surgery and after surgery I should try and remain at the same weight xx
