So did u always want them done? I did - iv never been balanced iv had 32 busy 28waist and 36 hips ever since puberty lol!!! Never looked balanced but breast feeding completely ruined them!!

Hi alipops66i can't sleep have taken all the painkillers i am allowed I am fine if I take of the compression band not sure how i am going to get through the next 6 week with it on agh

Me too!!! Iv woken every hour so far combination of obviously sore boobs, and sore ribs and sore back, keep getting woken up by other ppls buzzers too, and I was do hot I opened the window but now I can't shut so the birds are waking me now!! I'm not sure if I can have any more painkillers yet but will try and wait till breakfast as dot wana wake anyone else up xxx

In a lot of pain this morning - just had my discharge info leavin at 9 but am frightened il get an infection, too frightened to touch them the nurse showed me they are quite soft but if they get hard to call them but how can u tell if there's a problem I'm frightened il miss something??? Kinda scared about going home and it's like a 3 hour journey :-/ xxx

Yes Alipops, I have wanted them done since I was 19! I'm 32 this year :( I've never looked balanced, I too have always been around 34/32A-B, 28 waist, 36 hips. I'm petite but curvy, dressed I looked ok to others but I have never been happy. Pregnancy and breast feeding never helped, I loved my milk boobs and was gutted when they went!
How are feeling this morning? How are you initially finding the size? xx

Duh. Lol. Just seen your comment above!

Firstly. Don't be scared! Touching the breast every so often is good! It tells your brain that they are ok and they are not (that) painful. Feel them now and get used to how they feel in relation to hardness. You stayed over night so the chances if a bleed from surgery have mostly passed. Don't go any where near the incisions, there's no need. Every now and then have a look or get someone else to peek at your dressings to see that they appear clean from the outside of the bandage. If you suspect something isn't right just call the clinic, that's what we pay for! In relation to infection, your looking for you becoming unwell, flu like, temp, incisions swelling, burning, hurting, weeping or bleeding! You won't miss anything as you will be checking in the bad boys every 2 mins ;)
If its a real emergency then you would be told to attend your local A&E.... But don't worry you will be fine! Just take things easy. xxx

Managed to get a decent amount of sleep last night but feel very tight and uncomfortable this morning had my painkillers starting to kick in a bit now going to take it one day at a time but hoping I am up to going out on Thurs my daughter does dance and get her exam results then in the 14 years she has done them I have never missed a result day got really upset yesterday thinkingi mighty not be able to go

I'm the same quite sore been on the painkillers quite regular but I expected it to be bad I remembered the pain from engorgement when I breast fed and its quite similar xx i didnt sleep much at all was awake every hour so very tired xxx I'm on my way home now just been collected - feel a but car sick but do get it from time to time so nothing new xxx

Awww ladies within a few days you will have improved. They heal very quickly. Astanji I think you will be able to make the dance exam results I was out and about on Day 3 and feeling great xx

I think some of the sickness will be down to the drugs I felt a bit sick coming home and I am OK with traveling hope you make it home OK you will feel better at home I know I do

The bikini is a size 12. It's really odd as I'm fitting into all my old clothes but I look massive when naked, lol. One day I'm used to them the next I'm like woooo whoppers!

Happy 1 week boobies ruthaay! I agree can't wait to go back to work! Daytime tv is a killer and I'm spending a bomb on eBay through boredom haha! Just took my new boobies a walk to the local shop what a strange sensation, I'm so conscious of my new additions and felt tempted to keep grabbing them to make sure they were ok!

To alipops and astanji keep on top of the painkillers don't give them chance to wear off the first couple of days you will be most sore!
There is no place like home and been home will make you feel more comfortable
