They have shrunk! I'm so upset!!

Girlies,

I just updated my pics on picturetrail as am now 3 weeks post op.

Have been worried that they have shrunk as my sports bra feels a bit bigger (it's leaving marks on my boobs though) and having compared my pics from last week, they are definately smaller.

I'm so upset. I wanted a 32DD/E and am feeling depressed now.

Do you think I'm silly to be upset? I feel like crying.... :sad:

Hi, i haven't seen your pics, but if your sports bra is leaving marks on your breasts then that would suggest that they haven't shrunk,- maybe your sports bra has just loosened up and stretched?

Marie, i don't think they have shrunk hun, they look slighly lower but they definetly don't look smaller, they are a really nice size and shape Hug

you will get your DD/E maybe even bigger dont worry

my sports bra's did that too.. you'll feel so much better when you're in normal bra's xxx

I just seen your new pics and they dont look like they have shrunk at all. They are settling very nicely and they look super. I'm pretty sure your about a 32dd or more at the moment.

The bra I was using for the first month or so eventually stretched out from so much wear. When I bought another one same size it fit me nice and snug so I knew I hadnt shrunk xx

Aw sorry your upset hun, they wont have shrunk remember sports bras have a lot of give so it may be that its stretched out a little bit and some of the swelling may have gone but i think with 410s you will definitely get your dd/e.

Thanks girls. I know I need to be patient and hope that the fluffing fairy visits me but I'm panicking that I've spent lots of money and am not going to be happy.
I've got the same stats as you Nat (apart from I'm 5ft3) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they'll get bigger like yours!

I know I'm probably being silly but someone posted an online size calculator on SoFem and when I put my implant sizes into it it said I'd only be a D so that started me off too!!!

Oh !!! Keep away from the online measuring.....You will cry forever if you dont!!!.........they are bonkers...I dont need any bra according to one :evil: Cheek of it!!!

If you want to P.M. your P.W. I will have a peek and give you an honest opinion. You are early days and sports bras are soo much different from normal bras.

hey hunny like i said in my pm to you they don't look any smaller at all, and they are a great shape they really do look perfect.
i think we all worry during this settling stage, me too and this is my 3rd time round lol.
btw like mia said stay away from online measuring calculator things, i done one the other day and was a c or d cup.
i was a d before my op lol.
check out the thread on it, some pretty funny replies that should cheer you up hunny, i know it did me.

Aw hun, sorry to hear you're feeling like this, i'm sure you are going to be DD and above with 410cc, i had 250cc 5ft 2 empty B before op, now an E & it has got bigger this past 4 weeks for sure as it will now feels tight in my E cup & i have double boob, i can't get measured or wont know my real size until i have the other implant back in but as it's dropped it's got bigger despite me thinking at one point it had actually got smaller, try not to panic, you will be happy in time & they will improve too, good luck hunni xx

Truly I think you have no need to cry..unless it is with joy...they look great Flash

I think you have dropped slightly and still need to drop and settle a bit more, that will take a few weeks till they settle completly. I think you will have an E cup easy..they are twice the size of mine!!! Rolling Eyes

You are smaller back, height etc. You have a clevage all round too. Perhaps, you are just expecting too much too soon..I believe you are in for a very pleasant surprise.

The boob journey is an emotional one that is new to us all, and, it is only when you are at a stage when they have settled that you understand and believe that change happens. Do not go by how your sports bras are, as you are wearing them all day and pulling at them...they stretch with wash and wear.

Think positive with patience..you are looking swell Hug

Thank you Mia. You are right. They are not going to look at their full size until at least 6 weeks and maybe when I can wear a normal bra, they will look different.

How long did it take b4 u got ur proper size hun? I was an empty A,,had 300cc unders,,was a D cup last week ((after being told 3 weeks ago by my surgeon all my swelling was gone)) and now a C cup is too big!!!! So unhappy!!!! Im almost 4 months po-op and deffo have no swelling!! I want re-op as i'm so unhappy..x
