My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
I know lots of people say it but it's true :tears: I can't ignore the fact that my 34D sports bra is now too big now that the swelling has gone down. I've been wearing it on the tightest hooks at the back and with the shoulder straps as tight as they will go but when I sit relaxed they're not giving my boobs any support at all.
I've had such a bad day that this just tops it all. I could cry

Sexybum is prob right, don't get upset, you are barely a week into the journey, do you have a big m&S near you? they have loads of diff ones, go try all sorts on in 34d& c and 32 d & e and see which one feels most supportive...... first few days I was worried mine were getting massive, then they settled down and felt smaller, then they dropped, softened and filled out, I see you have overs (I had unders tho) but every day they can change at this stage, it isn't till about 4 weeks the changes slow down... hun I had 240cc low prof and now settled 8 months at min D cup.... 32 band

Aww hun your so early in the recovery stage. Its problies feeling looser cos the swelling is going down and you need a smaller back. I honestly wouldnt advise getting messured yet though as IMO its to soon and you will have loads of changes in the next 6weeks and even more over the coming months. I bet you end up bigger than you think though. xx

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
Thanks girls
I definitely don't seem to have any swelling now and always found 34 to be much too big in the past so maybe that's what's happened.
I'm not going to go and do anything silly like getting measured yet but I might just try on a few sports bras and non wired bras tomorrow just to give me an idea.
I made the mistake of looking at online bra size calculators tonight (even though I know they're unreliable) and got different results between 32E and 34C
Maybe if I stopped stuffing my face and lost a bit of weight then my boobs wouldn't look smaller too. Sorry girls, I'm just a bit down today. Hopefully everything will seem better in the morning!! xxx

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
Awww Lynnie, you're still early days hunni at 2 weeks post-op. Sportsbras aren't the most flattering of bras and do make you look smaller than you actually are, I was wearing a 34DD sportsbra, at 12 weeks post-op I was then wearing a 32F.
Wearing underwired bras makes a huge difference hun, not only to the shape and size of your breast but also to how you feel about your new boobs. Give it time sweetness. xxx

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
I hope you're right girlies! I don't know about big boobies though Lea, think I'll have to make do with average boobies!
Went to Debenhams today and tried on a few sports bras. I tried the 34C and there was no way my boobs were fitting in there so that was a relief. The 32D was definitely too tight round the ribs though so I'm still confused. Gonna stick with what I've got and ride it out until my 6 week check I think.
In the meantime I'm gonna join Weightwatchers! (I'm serious )

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
Awwww Lynnie I'm sorry your feeling down hun it's very early days and our boobs are on this rollercoaster (I know mine are!) where things are up one day and then down and then up again! Don't worry thou, your boobies won't have shrunk, they probably "appear" smaller because the swelling has gone down.
I thought my boobs had shrank too after 3 weeks as the swelling had subsided, I was wearing a 30DD sports bra and got measured at 4 and a half weeks (as instructed by my ps) and I measured a 28FF! So as you can see they hadn't got smaller at all.
These sports bras are not flattering at all, they squash the boobies down and flatten them. When you get measured and are in some sexy pretty bras, your boobs will look completely different hun

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
I wouldn't worry hun, you probably lost the swelling in your boobs but still have a little around your ribs which is why a 32 band is feeling a bit tight. I was wearing a 36D and 34DD and then got measured at 4 weeks at a 32F. The sports bras really aren't flattering and due to the position of you boobs being high and firm at the moment it can be difficult to get a bra to fit properly, you seem to be an in between size at the moment. But as they drop and fill out you will find it much easier.
Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
Ahh, sorry you are feeling down Lynnie. If it's any help, I have days where I think mine are too small and others where I think they are perfect. Guess it is all part of the healing process and also getting used to them. As the other girls say, they can continue to change for months afterwards so don't despair just yet! TC xx

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
Hi girls,,been a while since i been on...I am soooooooooooo unhappy and have been for a week!! My boobs have got a full cup smaller in this last week! At 1st i thought it was my imagination,,but i ask my 2 daughters and fiance to be 100% honest with me and they too said they have shrunk dramatically!!! I looked at pics taken last week,,tried all my bras and "yes" they have gone down!!! I had seen my surgeon around 3 weeks ago and he said " you have no swelling now so you have no restrictions"!!! So,,i know mine have not shrunk due to swelling as it was all gone..I feel so gutted,,so unhappy and depressed too!! I (like most of you) payed £4,995 to end up ONE size bigger!!!! I have contacted transform about a re-op and am waiting on a reply... :(

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
You aren't one size bigger hun, if you went from a 32A you should still be in a 32bra, measure under you breasts around your ribs and the nearest even number is your band size and then measure the fullest part around your boobs and for every inch over your band size is a cup size. I would go get measured again.

Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
Sorry your info under your avatar said you were wearing a 34c. I would try getting measured properly see what they say.
Re: My boobs have definitely shrunk! :(
That is very useful information misf1 as I have never measured myself that way. I am 29" around my ribs but have always worn 34 band bras. I think I will have to get measured properly once mine have settled.
Thank you xxx
