Sleeping on my front
HI Ladies,
I am just over a month away from my surgery date and I am starting to think about the logistics and how I will feel post surgery. I currently sleep on my front (Because I have no boobs its very comfy!!) I always find it difficult to sleep in any other position! I am now concerned that when I do get my ba that I may roll over in the night and be in a lot of pain!
I am going to try to start sleeping on my back soon to get used to it if I can, but any tips from anyone post ba on how to train your body like this?
Thanks x

Re: Sleeping on my front
I always slept on my tummy too. I find it strange sleeping on my back, still upright a bit, but not too bad. I use normal pillows a V pillow plus initially I put pillows either side of me so I didnt roll over but really not needed. It isnt that bad so dont worry. Just looking forward to laying flat in any position x

Re: Sleeping on my front
I was worried about this too and tried to start sleeping on my back pre surgery but just couldn't! But now I've had the OP I ONLY want to sleep on my back so I can protect my babies ;) it's not as hard as I thought it would be at all. The thing I miss is snuggling with my man :(

Re: Sleeping on my front
Maybe try a pillow under your knees as that'll help your lower back and maybe stop you from moving over into your front (I say maybe lol) the V pillow is great as that tends to keep me on my back but try not to worry to much as when you have your BA you'll be uncomfy and you may not be able to move on to your side in the night as you'll wake up whilst trying to do it. I seemed to as my chest was tight so any movement I felt and it woke me up! X x

Re: Sleeping on my front
yeah not too bad, you need to position a pillow so that all your boobs arent directly squashed on the mattress but when my surgeon said it was fine to tummy sleep i tried it and it feels amazing lol, takes alot of getting used to but it can be done xx
