People/ 'friends' saying stupid things

Ok so at a gathering I was talking to a few girls about my BA and one who I didn't really know said they looked really good to which my friend who was there decided to say 'yeah but they aren't real'
Well yes we have established that in the conversation previously! Why have people got to try and make you feel bad about it. I ignored her comment even if it annoyed me a little because I know if she had the money she would have one done tomorrow
To be honest she does this with a lot of things and I jus laugh because I know it's jealousy. It's not like I rub it in people's faces, I saved really hard to get my BA! If it was any of my friends I would be really happy for them (as 99% of them are) grr what's wrong with people!xx

Was her face real or was she wearing make up? Did she roll out of bed with her hair like it was or did she straighten/curl it? That would have been my response.... X

You have more self control than me then because I would have said something lol its 100% jealousy tho, im really lucky its the done thing where I live everyone's got theirs done, which is weird considering there are no major chain clinics anywhere near xx

She's just one of those people I spend my life saying stuff back to her about some things but this I just felt I didn't need tp where I know she would have it done tomorrow if she could xx

Do t sound like much of a friend to me Hun, sounds like negative people like that and you have to constatntly watch what you say or being the 'butt' of someone's joke/jealousy you can do without.
That's jus my opinion though. Can't stand people like that, live and let live is what I say. A friend is someone that's happy for you and supportive. X

As you correctly noted, she's utterly jealous. You're being complimented and she is quick to imply that you shouldn't be, because you aren't genetically blessed. Who cares though?! If two girls stood in front of me with amazing boobs, one had implants and the other didn't, I would be envious of either of them, regardless of whether they were fake or not. The fact is, your boobs look great, she is jealous and deserves to be ignored.

I know mrsb, all my other friends are completely happy nd supportive. To be honest it amuses me more than annoys me. I suppose I should just think, I don't get jealous comments often, so I should probably just enjoy it :heehee: xx

Yup, since booking i've only told 3 of my friends - because i cba with the snide comments etc but i was talking with one of the girls i have told and we both said if we were to give every person who made a remark a card with £5000 towards surgery on it, every single person would have something done! It really is just jealousy

mmmm it's true tho isn't it! and like the others have said, we all do things to make ourselves look/feel more attractive - hair dye/extensions, make up, nails/eyelashes. Even dieting & going to the gym is changing our 'natural' physique. Ah some people aye, green really isn't their colour.

I've had that comment before too! Girl - "her boobs look really good" Another girl - "yeah but they're fake" or "yeah but they're not hers".. run along mingers!!!

agree with everyone she is clearly jealous as you said if she could she would have done it to she obviously didn't like the fact ur fab new boobs were getting loads of attention and she wasn't :D xx
