Hey girlies,
Week today post-op!! Saw Dr today and he said all is well and they are very soft lol. But I forgot to ask him one thing, an after my panic attack and sending him that message the other day I don't wan to sound hypochondriac. I have been very sedentary this week but am off all meds, but am noticing I am constantly out of breath at the moment.
It is kind of like my diaphragm isn't strong enough to push the implants out and up to get sufficient oxygen sub conceously? It is okay when I am sitting, I still kinda notice it, but not so bad as if I am walking.
I did have asthma when I was younger, grew out of it about 3 years ago, but it doesn't really feel like that either..
Anyway girls, if you could let me know what you think that would be great! yipee

Your ribs will be still be very swollen and still have that heavy weighted feeling on your chest. You'll be fine in another few weeks, just take it easy. Still try and get some small walks round the house or garden to keep acti e as that will actaully aid your recovery.

I agree with our fab mrs B! < hey that rhymes! Haha

I would suggest though that you maybe get checked over my your GP also. The pain does sound very much like rib pain, but with you having previous problems breathing even though it was when you were a child, its best to just get checked over lovely. My daughter had childhood asthma which disappeared when she was around 11-12. It came back when she was 19. So don't just disregard breathing difficulties because it 'might' be caused by rib pain hun. Xx
