Re: April Buddies
Yes I am thinking of the smaller of the two now. I don't want to look too 'done'. I want to be able to hide them away for work and things. 265's will likely give me a D really.

Re: April Buddies
Who is staying overnight? I allowed to go home in the evening all being well. I arrive at 11:00 and will have my op around lunchtime, so a lot of hours of observation then home to bed somewhere around 7ish. Be nice to wake up in my own bed but not looking forward to the car journey. Bets to get it out the way while I am dosed up on hospital meds tho I guess.
I still really can't make up my mind whether to take my OH or my BF (best friend)!!! I don't think I will be allowed an entourage.

Re: April Buddies
Hi girls!
Doracina - I do feel for you... my mum is trying her hardest to be supportive but I can see in her eyes she is just thinking 'what are you doing you stupid girl'...however I am doing this for me and for my marriage (my self confidence has been at an all time low since children/weight gain/weight loss/ boobs disappearing and although my husband couldnt care less I cant help thinking people look at us when we are out thinking what on earth is he doing with her!). Do make sure you tell someone you can trust though - especially as you will need looking after once you get home x
I am an overnight case - its costing about 2k just for that so I am hoping I am admitted at 7am and leave at last knockings the next day... I am planning on getting my monies worth.
Locolo and Littlemiss - can't imagine how you must be feeling - just think this time next week you'll be all done! Please please please be brutally honest with what happens - I am soooooo nervous now I can't believe I am going to have it done!
x

Dont worry Guard, Ill update as soon as Im done and will tell you from beginning to end. Littlemiss I think the v pillow sits between seatbelt and boobies to stop the strap from being too tight, Im still not sure? may ask in the forum.
Nevers and excitement all mixed in one Guard, Ill hopefully have my boobies this time next week x

Re: April Buddies
Me too - As soon as I am able I'll post here! I'll be desperate to update you all haha! I just know it will be worth it for what its going to give me in confidence.
Thanks Loclo. I think in a way gonig home the same day could be good as we will be topped right up on meds for the car trip! Mine will only take 10-15 mins as well! Phew!
Just made the executive decision to St Tropez my arms, legs and face Monday night lol (not booby area)! There is only so rough I am prepared to look and I am anticipating that's all I'll have going for me next week!

Re: April Buddies
Ohhh god we're all going to be a right mess! Nobody has said I can't have any of the above. But I'm thinking best not to tan my boobs (creative blending here we come). I wont bother with makeup on the day, its just like going to bed and I don't want to wake up feeling all icky.
I only just realised about underarms on Sunday - NO way I am going to have enough to wax by the time I go in :( Urgh!

Re: April Buddies
I think i have finally decided to go for the bigger implant! I've been re-reading my research and there is a lot of confusion between surgeons perceptions when people ask about 'cup sizes' primarily this seems to result in smaller implants being too small. If I went through it all and they were very small still I would be upset. I also wouldn't want to have to have surgery again for a trivial reason. I think I am going to brave the 265s now. Yikes! how many times can a girl change her mind in 6 days!?

Re: April Buddies
They have told me Iam looking at after 2pm before i get mine so Iam going to be starving!! And dont know what iam going to do without my cup of tea! Iam going to be an overnight number too so I plan on having chocolate and Iron brew in my case, just incase i need abit of comfort. Iam booked in for waxing the day before and defo getting my fake tan on as there is no chance of a sunbed any time soon! I keep telling myself its so going to be worth it!!

Re: April Buddies
Loclo and Littlemiss thats great u have decided on ur sizes! Loclo why cant u tan? And why no make up??!! OMG I cant go bare faced lol! I need my eyebrow pencil at least!!!!
I told my parents today, something came up regarding those dates and I just decided to do it. My mum was v excited for me and told me my husband better get the snip quick lol! She totally gets why I am doing it, and I showed her my pre-BA pics that I took so she saw for the first time the devastating effect of breast feeding on me! Lucky woman she breast fed loads but INCREASED from an A to a D! My dad was a bit shell shocked but quickly said he was not worried and it would be fine but he would "talk to me later" about it! being the man he is and the career he had I am sure he will have some questioning for me soon enough! He'll probably try to phone my PS! But its done now and I feel strangely relieved and more confident now they r on board and not totally disapproving.x .

Re: April Buddies
Hi everyone, I don't often post on here but I enjoy reading your comments cos most of them are really helpful and some of them are really funny and make me laugh. I am thinking I am going to have to invent a good tale to tell my Mum, I do a lot for her so there will have to be some explanation for not visiting at the weekend of my op but there is no way Im telling her the truth as she loves to gossip in a nice way and will be telling her carers, district nurse & anyone else she can think of phoning lol.
Like most of you I'm nervous but excited and one of the things that worries me most is the GA, last time I had it the nurse wouldn't tell me what I'd been saying so I dread to think.
If any if you are thinking of getting bio oil in the next few days I noticed its half price in lloyds pharmacy if you don't already know.
I wish you all good luck with your ops and thanks for sharing all your thoughts etc xxx

Re: April Buddies
Ballet Babe Im not sure on the tan but notes say no nail varnish ect. Ill be wearing make up to hospital and will take some face wipes with me, Ill be putting it back on for the journey home. I cant leave anywhere without my make up, it makes me feel completly naked! Its so nice that your parents were supportive, all I got out of my dad was 'Good luck to you' not a word since lol. My mum and sister seem excited for me, brother lives in afghanistan so he dont know, not that he will care .

CAN....HARDLY....WALK..... think i have overdone the gym - I had to come down the stairs today on my bum! Bugger my plan of loosing 7lbs in 20 days may be scuppered....
Hi Hexxi, kfs and misante! KFS - it sounds like we might be bosum buddies (excuse the pun!) I am also going for anatomical nagor implants (albeit partial unders) and have an 8 month old and 2 year old. Are you worried about looking after them? I have decided to move back to my mums at day 6 recovery for a week or so as I dont think my husband will cope to well on his own.
Misante - can't wait to hear the tale you tell your mum re your new boobs - we should try to think of something to help... like you were bitten by a rare spider and the swelling doesn't seem to be subsiding?
I must go and have a hot bath and use some muscle rub - I really am in agony! Night ladies x
