Re: April Buddies
Welcome new ladies! So exciting!
This forum is great. Makes me laugh and helps my nerves lots now I'm getting close. Glad we make others giggle and help those who don't often post!
Lol guard! Steady on! At least you have practiced the bum shuffle you'll be doing after! I am hitting the gym after work tonight! And tomorrow afternoon and going for a massive hike Sat and gym Sunday morning! I think I will leave it there though as I don't want to be aching badly on Tuesday before hand!
Thanks Ballet! I am glad I finally feel 100% about my size choice! Loclo its probably good they have taken the choice away now! Job done! One less thign to worry about!
Last day at work today before the big day! Ten days off! YAY! I think I am all set on supplies. Just food shopping the day before for easy healthy things to munch on and lots of OJ and bottled water!
Can't wait to hear the tale you spin Misante! lol xx

Re: April Buddies
Anyone else puzzled about how boobies will change in size after the BA - Take a look at my question in the general forum 'Changes in size post BA' where Cookie has posted a brilliant explanation (with pics and all) of the changes that happen. I now totally understand the 'drop and fluff' thing! xx

Re: April Buddies
Hi girls - had a nice sleep last night and thankfully not in so much pain since my last workout... thank heavens for neurofen...even ventured back to the gym this morning so back on track. Phew.
Congrats on being active littlemiss - I wonder if I am yet?
I am now having second thoughts about my sizes - i was set on 520cc but this seems HUGE compared to what others have had. I rechecked my notes from my first consultation and have been offered 400cc, 450cc, 520cc, 540cc anatomicals or 620cc round. I am not as petite as most of you sound, so too big could make me look quite fat i think. I can't wait for my second consultation on the 2nd April to discuss everything - i feel so much better informed for our next meeting.
Is it just me or is each day going.......really...... really..... slowly......

Guard not sure how long til your ba but your generally not allowed to take ibuprofen or asprin 2 weeks before surgery, paracetamol is fine. What are your stats now? I've been gym and my legs are beginning to ache, got the school run in 2 hours and the housework is staring at me right in the face!! x

Re: April Buddies
Oh I didnt know that! I'm booked on the 16th April and have my 2nd consultation on the 2nd April so should know more on size etc then.
My stats are 5'5, 10.5 stone and currently a 36c (got measured last night). My body has completely changed since children and I only stopped breastfeeding 4 months ago but ps said that's not a problem.
As for housework - figure it will still be here tomorrow- got 2 v grumpy children today so might just watch lion king today and have cuddles! X

Re: April Buddies
Evening ladies!!
Hi Guard, haha bosom buddies. ..yep im having partials too. Worried about the kids doesnt even cut it lol. so hubby has 2 weeks off annual leave but he has a really important exam to study for and actually asked "will i get a few hours of study in each day?". Not sure what he thinks i do all day, but its certainly not having 3 hrs of 'me' time each day lol. I'm going to make it as easy as poss for him i.e meals frozen ready, empty wash basket (which only we know will last 24hrs) and an hr by hr itinerary ha. As i know the minute he gets stressed, my care will go down the loo lol.
Iv also started refusing to pick my 1yrold up this week so hopefully she'll get used to it and stop with the tantrums.
How are you prepping?
x x

Re: April Buddies
Kfs, sound pretty much like my prepping. Im leaving my ironing to the last minute, asking my partner to that would be asking too much!! Ive having a big spring clean on Tuesday, and will also do some cooking too.
My partner cant cook what so ever. He once attempted to make a curry, which came out really spicy, he asked me what he could put in it to cool it down and I said some yoghurt.Thinking he would use his brain and put plain yoghurt in, he added strawberry instead . Its put me off curries (was not a big fan anyway) and strawberry yoghurt. x

Re: April Buddies
lmao i actually just giggled out loud.. strawberry yoghurt, thats insane. mine can luckily cut a dew dishes, as long as they dont mind tuna bake, fajitas or curry being on repeat for 2 weeks.
iv starting spring cleaning to already, kitchen cupboards-check, decluttered kids clothes -check(so he doesnt have them walking around in ankle swingers) sofa covers-check.
To do
carpets, windows, bedding, cooker.
(sorry to bombard you with my checklist ha, its more of a mental clearout)

It was one of the most vile things I've ever tasted. He's since been barred from any cooking duties especially for our daughters! I feel really nervous all of sudden, I'm trying to watch tv and I keep getting flashes of the word "Boobies" in front of my eyes x

Haha you have boobie brain . I am ok at the moment. I'm doing a law degree part time as well though so I am desperately trying to get my reading up to date in case I am too high on meds to do any next week lol! That's keeping me from thinking too much about it! Can't believe its Friday tomorrow. This time next week we will both be post op! :) x

Re: April Buddies
Eeeek Ballet! Not long. It drags and then you get to the last week and suddenly its 'OMG so much to prep!' Then it goes so fast!
I love it Loclo! Its hard sometimes with work and everything else life has in store (no kids yet) but I'm doing it through the open uni so I can lie flat on my back and study while I recover! I'll probably get more done then usual as I can't procrastinate with cleaning/ironing ANYTHING lol. I am sure you'll get to it if you really want to when your girls are older. I had to put my boobs off for a bit to pay for it so I'm super excited its finally time!!!!!!
