Can feel my right implant moving Empty Can feel my right implant moving

Post by vickeysmith 18th January 2013, 5:08 pm

I can feel it moving around, I really don't like how this feels. Is this the sloshing charfaye mentioned the other day or something else? Will it stop? Can I do anything to help it to stop?
A little worried x

It's not a noise I can feel it. I did email my surgeon but he sati it was normal and he did discuss this in the consultation... I just don't remember! I presumed he meant movement of the implant Was one of the risks. X

When I push the side of my breast I can feel it squash too, it's a horrible feeling just doesn't seem normal. I guess this is because my left feels normal x

How do you know it's your implant moving around!? Can you see it? I know there's alot of air pockets in there that take time to go maybe it's that? Xx

I hope it is air, it just feels like a lump of heavy jelly droping and bouncing when I walk. It doesn't hurt just doesn't feel right. Lol at making your boobs fart! X

It's the fluid that accumulates in the pockets it can take a while to disperse. It's a horrible feeling but passes eventually.. Mine have not been as vocal today

Its nothing to do with the sloshing babe. You're very early in your recovery and some women do feel movement early post-op so don't worry lovely it is normal, its just that the implant has yet to adhere to the breast pocket and to that it needs stability, so ensuring the breast gets as little movement as possible is very important lovely. Making sure you're in a good supportive bra will help lots. Xx

Thanks cookie I have just bought some good bras but its still doing it so I've put a medium support bra over my high impact one. Although its quite tight it has significantly reduced the movement. Hopefully it will get better x

It should settle it babe. It won't happen overnight though, but like you said the stability makes it feel better already so hopefully given a little time it will settle in :ok: xx

My Left one did this for a few weeks. When I lent forward it felt like the implant was also moving forward and could feel it even when walking or laying back. It was awful but it did stop after a couple of weeks :) xx
