Hey - I had my consiultation with Mr Meleagros a few days ago and booked for Feb!! Excited!!!

I thought he was great - gave me ;loads of time to try different sizes on, seemed to understand what I wanted etc. But it wasn't until I started reading these boards that I read about profiles... This is something we didn't discuss. I spoke A LOT about the natural look (so much so that in the end he had to look me in the eye and say "I HAVE HEARD YOU!" and laughed :) So maybe he has made a decision himse;lf based on what will look most natural... but I would like some opinions anyway so I can discuss it with him on op day.

I'm having 460cc overs and am a 34B currently. That sounds big I know, but I am tall and have a lot of breast tissue from going up to an F cup in pregnancy.

This board is so good - hopefully once I've had my op I'll be able to repay all the good advice!

There are 3profiles Hun, moderate, high and extra high, refering to dimentions of implants moderates start off with a wide base and not much projection, highs smaller base bigger projection and extra high smaller base still with higher projection.

Cookie has a great diagram of them.. I'm sure she'll post soon.

Do you know the 'make and model' number if you do you can see the exact dimensions of the implant you'll be having on the manufactures catalogue online.

If it's transform you are going with you'll be getting the standard round cui implant which comes in either high or low profile. You will need to give them a ring to have a look at your notes to see what implant and profile youre getting.

Mr M told me he usually uses the CMH implants high profile but maybe like misf1 said ring the clinic to check xx

Looking at your diagrams, Cookie (thanks for that), the low profile I don't think he would have given me as I don't think it would fill me skin out enough. I was worried that the high profile would look fake, but seeing it there it looks more "natural boob" shape than the others... what do you think?

High profile is Gerald used for slim women, if you have a wide breast or are very broad, a lower profile might be used to fill the breast width to make it look more natural and not sticking too far out.

Mine are high profile too.... I think the majority of women tend to have high profiles. They do give a natural look 'if the right size is chosen for you' but that can be said of any profile.

Your surgeon should be able to tell from your body type and breast measurements which profile and size would fit best to give you the look you're wanting. Xx

Thanks so much. So I called the clinic and its the CMH which are medium high. Guess good old Meleagros knows what he's doing :)
