O god my belly has doubled in size since last night and is very uncomfortable, trying to eat plenty of fruit and veg and drinking loads of water just trying to be as healthy as poss so I don't pile on weight! Anyone got any tips that help the bloating a bit? Xx

Oh god i couldnt go to the loo for days and it was driving me insane!! I ate pears and oranges plus i got my mum to get me some fybogel from the shop. Its wee sachets that you take morning and night to help you go! I also tried doing a few gentle lunges when i was standing up lol. Just make sure no one is behind you xxx

Oh god, I know, it's awful isn't it. I have now had two bowel movements and feel much better, but I still feel very bloated. Head Movicol(?) sachets are amazing but I just had one piece of the chocolate laxative stuff. It's all going to take time.....

Ah the dreaded budda belly. Itsndownntonthe ga and the pain meds . As youbarebdoing lots of water help flush it out , fibre and maybe a gentle laxative like senna.

Once you start getting a hit more active... I mean as in gentle walking and moving about it will disappear mine lasted over a week to two weeks xx

Hi rocky. As the girls have said, this is all very normal post op. You are doing exactly what you should be doing and it will sort itself out in a couple of weeks. I also found that once I was able to get my posture sorted again, things sorted pretty quickly (i.e walking tall instead of stooping and sitting tall instead of a little hunched) x

Im sure you will be sore for a while, today is the first day im not as sore and still think with the unders it must be worse cos when i had my overs i was definitely not in as much pain. Bet you cant wait to get up and about properly xxx
