Re: Trying on implants - Transform
Hi Wishful - thank you for your reply and letting.me know how detailed your experience was, it sounds great x i had an appointment yesterday with Mr Clarke at Transform and it was great, was in there a while because he went through all the risks in detail, and then about what he reccommends me personally. i tried on the 410cc implants as that was what two surgeons said was the most i could have. Mr Clarke said if he couldn't fit the 410s in then he would give me the 365 implants...i didn't get to try this size on but i wasn't worried about this as i knew if i couldn't get the 410 implqnt en it wouldn't be my choice whether to have the 365s...it would be the biggest i could have :-)
Hi Mais - thanks hun, consultation went really well, he took the tim to tell me what was possible and what wasn't, and i didn't feel pushed at all or rushed out. my pcc is going to call me with a pruce today, and hopefully i can book it in a couple of days :-) how are you healing hun?

Re: Trying on implants - Transform
It sounds like it went well Hun, does he use sizers then?
I'm glad your experience was better than mine at Transform! (The surgeon I saw was more bothered about the texts on his phone!)x

Aw brilliant, glad it went well. It was really important to me that the surgeon spent a lot of time with me. If its with transform you should get at least a £250 discount if your staying overnight. I'm healing really well, soo happy with them. Kind of wondering if I should have gone bigger now lol but I'm sure that will go away when I get to wear bras :) xx

Re: Trying on implants - Transform
Dex it's basically a temp implant for a ps to use to see if it will fit in the pocket they make in the breast.
Ha well yeah it hardly makes you want to whip out 4k and book a date, does it!! It was Mr Mahdi at the Crosby clinic.

Re: Trying on implants - Transform
Ah I saw Mr Mahdi with Transform at Newcastle. Although he wasn't texting so i guess I was lucky lol
I have no idea if he uses sizers, he didn't mention them, but he said he would try the 410 implant and if it wouldn;t fit he'd have to use the 365s. Which i'm happy with, obviously i don;t want him to use an implant that is too big for me, but at least then i will know that i had the biggest implant available for my size :)
Thanks for all the info hun x

Re: Trying on implants - Transform
I had a 385, and it is a good size. I couldn't have had a 410 if I had wanted as it wouldn't have fitted , your surgeon will know what's best . It's a dilemma, I was lucky that I liked the size I tried and my surgeon agreed and said it was just right . Best wishes Hun x you will look amazing

Re: Trying on implants - Transform
Aww thank you jakki
so happy for you that your nurses appointment went well yesterday :-) are you using bio oil on your scars or anything? i completely agree with you hun, i wouldn't want a implant that was too big and that caused any post-op problems due to the size being too big, but i trust that Mr Clarke will put in the implant that he feels is the right size :-) xx

Re: Trying on implants - Transform
Yes bio oil , light massaging , cos a slight bump , tiny though and just put on some Kelo-cote advanced formula scar gel . Just thin film on the scar . Could use bio oil on one from 6 weeks, just started using bio on the other. Gonna see how this gel is.
