I didnt stop mine, even though I should have it was missed by the hospital nurse on my pre-op. Anyways I was told cause I was slim, and I didnt plan on being a couch potato that I would be fine (which i knew) - I continued to take it since as well and im fine..xox

Yes you should stop taking it before BA as it can cause blood clots and DVT. As for afterwards, you can take it as normal (so if it's like my pill, you take it on the first day of your next period).

Some will say not to bother, but the risks are blood clots and DVT so I would personally x

My surgeon asked me if I was on the pill and said they don't go well with antibiotics (already knew that) but that's all he said. I'm having my op in 3 weeks on Thursday do you think I should carry on this packet I'm on now (7days left) and leave it until after? Xx

Yes finish your packet that you're on now I would, then stop it and restart it again after your BA. x
