Re: January Buddies
Hey hey,
I've just come back from my pre op checks and MRSA swabs at the clinic. All good and set for next Wednesday. I showed my PS some photos I had found on the Internet of sizes I like and ones that are too big. So so pleased I did as the original size I was down for would have got me the result of the ones that were too big, lol!! I've now gone for 310 and 340 and he's said that'll get me the look I want although he still wouldn't say it would def be large c small c but I know he can't guarantee so appreciate this.
I am not 100% happy with my size choice and would recommend anyone concerned about size to take in images on your phone or print them off and show your PS what you want as this just showed my idea of what I wanted was different to his. Thanks cookie as it was you who said do that.
The patient care lady said no one else has ever done that and I explained why I did, she said what a great idea as its difficult when the surgeon just shows you before & after shots of boob, by the time you've got home you've forgotten them and then start worrying about size, shape etc.
Am very exited now, just need to shift the last bit of this cold so I can start running again before my op otherwise ill be the size of a small bungalow!!! X x

Re: January Buddies
Definitely a good idea if you aren't sure. All set now then my dear, how exciting. Did the nurse/your PS advice on what size bra to buy for directly after surgery? X

Re: January Buddies
The patient consultant Debbie said to take a sports bra but I didn't ask what side as I've got a selection after my shopping spree the other day. I have 2 x 36 Dd and one 38D and one 36D. Knowing my luck they will all not fit lol but I've kept the tags on and ill just take them back. Marks & Sparks were the softest I found x x

Re: January Buddies
Cookie,
I've just been reading your info on pre op stuff ie what you can & can't do before surgery. You've said no garlic 48 hours before, can I ask the reason for this please as I'm going out for a curry the night before with work and I'm suggesting everything will have garlic in it lol?? X

Re: January Buddies
Garlic thins the blood and therefore increases the risks of bleeding .. My post op instructions state no garlic or Chinese food for 2 weeks post op
