Feeling blue :(
Well, my happiness was short lived :( Tried on another few bras today as I thought well I am in town so why not...urgh!
The ONLY reason my avi looks half decent is because I am wearing a 2xboost wonder bra (old habits die hard) so I don't actually look that great! Tried a few normal bras and nothing... I don't look much different to how I did and not a sniff of a cleavage :'(
I feel trying on bras like the one in my avi the other day was just stupid, I have tricked myself into thinking that's how I might look and there is no way I will! It looks like I am still destined to live in bras that make me look nothing like I actually do. Feel like I have wasted my money... wish I had gone bigger!
So not happy :(
Sorry to moan ladies... I have no-one else to moan at, my other half is soooooo not interested.
xx

Re: Feeling blue :(
I didn't get decent cleavage until after the 6 month mark, however there are ways to cheat for the time being while you're still healing. Gel bras are a lot firmer than a normal plunge bra and they force your boobies into the right position for cleavage as they are so much stronger. If you really don't want to wear a gel bra, you can always wear a cup size or two smaller in any bra which will also force your boobies together easier. Different tops also work, so learning to dress your new assets to their full potential, never wear anything that skims over your boobs as this will make them look non existant, but figure hugging and good cuts will emphasise what you have.
Re: Feeling blue :(
Ah I'm sure they still have lots of time to change. I have read people saying different shapes of bra help maybe its worth trying different types xx

Aww hun sorry to hear your feeling so down! I think a lot of ladies actually go through what you are feeling now and it's completely normal. Like the other girls have said your boobs are still changing xx

Re: Feeling blue :(
Hun you're only 2 months post op you've still got loads of changes to go through especially as you had unders these things take longer. Once you've dropped and fluffed you should see a difference. I know you really wish you'd had the 410s but remember it takes around 100cc to go up a cup size so the difference wouldn't be *that* major. It seems a lot of girls go through this 'booby blues' stage but it will get better hun! Lots of hugs xxx

Hey Booby bud!
I go through stages of feeling like this too! Some days I love them, some days I don't (for several different reasons!) I think we'll just get used to them!? And like the others said, it's still 'early days' for us
Xxxxx

Re: Feeling blue :(
It sounds like you're quite early on if you're not supposed to be trying on bras and with having unders there's still looooooooooooads of time to drop and fluff (not what you want to hear i know because you want the results now), my friend didn't feel like she had fully dropped and fluffed til about the 12 month mark!! i think it is still very early days, don't get yourself down and ditch those 2xcup booster bras out now! I fully intend to hold a ritual and burn those buggers when i have mine done!! But honestly, there's still so much potential for them to change so don't be taking all this to heart and thinking that it's the end because it really isn't, this is just the beginning (and for what it's worth i think they look fit )
Re: Feeling blue :(
Aw hunni I have days like this too. Mine are big, but for my frame not so much, and if I'm wearing the wrong bra or top I can look the same as I did before! Get yourself to a decent lingerie shop, speak to the staff about exactly what you're after. 'Normal' bras can give completely different effects... I have this one for everyday [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
And they look their actual size (e cup) gives great cleavage. Then I have a standard M&S t shirt bra (the ones in a 2pack) and I swear they look like a b and make me want to cry.
Also, look in the positive side. When it comes to the time when you need a re-op, you can go bigger instead of needing an uplift!! X

Oh hunni please don't feel down , I know the feeling about wanting to go bigger as there are days I feel the same. I think it's the cosmetic surgery bug that you get once you start lol . Your boobies look great and fit your body shape perfect. I'm sure you will feel different in time and when they are fully healed xx

Re: Feeling blue :(
Well I haven't actually been fitted yet so I don't know, too scared lol I think if I hadn't been so obsessed with the D look before and more about the size maybe I would have made a better choice...cos what I thought was a D is more than likely an F, lol!
Glad you're ok...very early days for you!!! Are you off work for two weeks? Do they look like torpedoes? I hated that stage, lol x

Re: Feeling blue :(
Hi, Try not to feel down! I didn't want to be too big, just have boobs..lol!! at consultation I said I would like to be a nice full c cup. I got fitted a few weeks ago I am a 30e/f depending on bra! Like you I thought I was a 34 back as thats the size I bought pre BA and stuffed them with chicken fillets, my implants are 345 natrelle inspira tsf so smaller than yours so you may get a nice surprise when you get yourself fitted! I went to both john lewis & bravissimo both were fab at fitting!( i was worried about going to bravissamo as I didn't think I was big enough to fit the larger cup thats why I went to john lewis 1st).
Go get yourself fitted this weekend & treat yourself to some to some lovely bras you'll feel tons better I promise! XXX

Re: Feeling blue :(
I don't agree that augmented boobs do look smaller than natural. We actually did a little game here a while ago showing pics of natural and augments tend boobs of various sizes and everyone had to guess the size. The results were that everyone thought the augmented boobs look 'bigger' then natural!
It's all just about perception though hun. If you actually research sizes in the band size you are there probably a lot smaller than you at first perceived them to be. And celebs don't help with their massive boobs all being publicised as being Ds or DDs for some reason xx

Re: Feeling blue :(
Mirren - That is an amazing size you have been fitted at!!! I went into debenhams today to take a bra back ( I bought it, can't wear it so thought stop being silly and get money back, lol) and couldn't resist trying some more on... tried a 32 back and it's dead tight! Think I am going to stop now until I get fitted cos it just brings me down...kinda makes me feel how like I used too :( I will take your advice and go to Bravissimo and John Lewis, thanks! It's weird, trying on a few brs again today just doesn't feel nice at all... and I seem to get NO cleavage even with push up with gel...crazy!
Cookie - Oh, I am totally wrong and have no idea what I'm on about Thought it was the the way round and BA boobs look smaller! Yeah totally agree the media doesn't help... I think what has done it for me is I used to work in an adult shop (for 7 years) and we had a screen on 9 hours a day playing porn... working there to be honest didn't help my mental state with boobs and how I think they should look and made me think all men like massive boobs which isn't true. I just want my boobs to look like the boobs in the million hours of film I have seen, lol! It's really tarnished how I think... I thought this would help but so far it hasn't
