When will it hurt?
Hi all,
I had my BA on Wednesday so am currently 2 days post op. I only had small implants (260 overs) so didn't expect it to be overly painful, but so far I'm feeling almost 'too' good! I didn't feel at all sick after the op, only had 2 of the painkillers provided by them, then had paracetamol last night and this morning instead (to avoid Buddha belly). I'm not in any pain, haven't experienced morning boob and have been out with some friends for a drink this morning and to the shops this afternoon (just browsing). I've also slept for 9-10 hours each night (v pillow fort!) and have no back pain etc.
Now obviously I'm thrilled to be feeling so good, but feel that this is lulling me into a false sense of security. So does anyone have any similar experiences, who can tell me what I might expect over the next couple of weeks?
Thanks
Tors xx

Re: When will it hurt?
Overs are a lot easier most of the time. I had no pain at all, but I did have some discomfort from morning boob from about day 4/5 back ache started about day 4
Re: When will it hurt?
That's really useful - thank you! I think I was expecting most of the pain to be in day 2-3 whereas it might be later on.. I assume as long as I'm not doing any heavy lifting etc then I won't be doing any damage by being active?x

Re: When will it hurt?
Keeping mobile is very good to do and will actually help your healing. Doing too much or cleaning up will hinder your healing. Make sure you take plenty of breaks, but go for nice walks in the fresh air, maybe a bit of shopping if someone goes with you for lifting/carrying. Listen to your body if you feel tired just stop.
Re: When will it hurt?
You guys are awesome - thanks again :) will continue to do what I'm doing and hope I stay pain-free!x

Re: When will it hurt?
Thank you mummyme! I really should do an avi but I'm not sure it would show much at the moment - they don't really look like anything in the Macom! Will have a play around later though :)
Day 4 today and I'm off the painkillers (had one paracetamol yesterday) so hopefully it'll be a smooth recovery.
So glad I had this forum - it meant I felt really prepared on the day and since - I would've been so lost without you girls!x
