My sister in law got a really heavy cold a week before her breast reduction, she was fine by the day of the op but they refused to do it because of some of the stuff that was in cold and flu medicine she'd taken :(
hope yours can still go ahead hun, ring the clinic maybe see what they say? xxx

Fingers crossed it can still go ahead. I'd keep rining the clinic to ensure your op can still go ahead. They will probably insist in the blood test so may be able to get you an emergency appointment for your pre op.

Oh poor you Scatty! The norovirus season has really started with a bang this year and we are seeing quite a number of outbreaks in acute and community healthcare settings already! The illness is usually self-limiting and symptoms generally only last for approx 12 - 60 hrs. As long as you have been completely symptom free for at least 48hrs before your BA next week (or your bowel movements have returned to their normal pre-infection pattern for 48 hours), then you will be fine (good hand hygiene is key!). Let us know how you go. Take care x

Hi alexandria18 glad I have a 22nd buddie lol hopefully it'll still go ahead
And thanks everyone else it's been a dreadful few days I was sobbing while the ambulance was here as my other half had collapsed unconscious the baby was crying and throwing up and I was running to the other lol throwing up it really was awful. Once we had all got bit better I really started to doubt whether the new boobies were really wise considering what everyone had been through I feel so guilty now too. I'd just like it over now to be honest. Now I'm starting to worry bout stuck on look lol xx

That virus sounds relly bad. Hope you feel better soon. I have worries about my BA to but there just worries we'll be ok. Apparently it's normal to have all these worries before our BA so be positive and you'll have great boobs next week.
