yesterday, before my op, i weighed 10stone 8 lbs. Today i weigh 11 stone 9 lbs. how the hell can this be possible??????

same scales. and i keep moving them and trying again. same answer every time. and they weighed me at hospital yesterday and i was 10 stone 5 there! i am very swollen, could that be it? plus the implants. i am crying my eyes out over this...

I am an obsessive weigher! I weigh myself every day (which has come from loosing 5 stone!) I weighed myself before my op and I was 8 stone 9 and the day after the op I weighed 9 stone 7! Within a week I was back down to 8 stone 11. I was so bloated and swollen everywhere after the op so I reckon its mainly swelling. Dont worry hun. x

When the weighed you at hospital before surgery you would have have nil by mouth so no food or any liquid, the average person can accumulate 6 pounds during the day just eating and drinking ( not literally just if you weigh yourself in the morning on empty stomach then at night you can weigh up to 6 pound more due to food and water) again you will go back down to same weight next morning. !
So that when you were weight, then today the ga, meds make you bloated, constipated, swelling etc. and again depending on what time of the day you're weighing. Yourself makes a diffrence.
So don't worry babe you'll soon return to normal !!! Xx

I have a spare tyre!!! And gained about 7lb, but it just feels like bloat etc x it must be the norm!

Forget about your weight hun. What's important right now is your recovery. Your weight will sort itself out as you become more active and the GA has run through your system.

Make the most of being able to put your feet up babe, 'cos before long you'll be back to the drudge of everyday life... Only then you'll be doing it with boobs! Stars xx

I was the same, mortified that i went in at 11st 1 came out the next day at 12st 3!! Lol 9 days later i was back down to 11st 2, like everyone says its the swelling/ bloating/constipation/meds etc dont worry about that it will sort itself out hun u just concentrate on your recovery :) xxxxx
