Exercise post BA?
I am going to miss workouts so much but i know i will need to take a break, How long did you have to stop working out after BA? and when you started up again how did you find it with your new assets? x

I am exactly the same! I have been told by my surgeon not to do any exercise till 6 weeks post op and to start gently. I have also been told to wear 2 bras to the gym and not to lift weights for 3 months!!

Re: Exercise post BA?
I'm just being really careful about what I eat to avoid gaining lots of weight but I am really missing the gym :( I just keep thinking I'm nearly 2 weeks post op now so it wont be long before I can do something. My ps said I can walk on the treadmill from next week so I am going to go to the gym to do that just to keep the habit of walking in the place!!

Re: Exercise post BA?
Exercise to me is a form of self inflicted torture and I avoid it at all costs. So eating healthy, low carbs and plenty of fruit and veg and lots of water will help plus you are able to walk as much as you like after your BA plus keeping mobile is really good for your healing. Although no power walking. A nice stroll at normal walking pace.

Girls I am exactly the same I am a gym bunny and workout 5/6 days a week for couple hours at a time.
It is hard but trust me the way you feel after your ba you won't WANT to do any excersise for a while. When you do start feeling better yet till can't go to the gym, walking is a great start and to be honest 6 weeks out of your gym routine is a very small price to pay for your beautiful new boobs.
Your body will get back as soon as you go back, muscle memory.
I've just had my 6 weeks out ( well its been 8 weeks so went back 2 weeks ago) and now got to have another 6 weeks!! But I'm not doing anything that will compromise my pocket revision. !!

You'll be surprised at how quick fitness comes back and as for working back I gym you can still work your lower, so doing sqaut lunges etc just hold off the weights or a bit, trust me Hun, it flys by and o be honest it's nice to give your body a break and get back into it, because when you do you will have that drive and motivation back !

Re: Exercise post BA?
I was hammering the gym on the lead up to my surgery! So much so that when I came round from the anaesthetic I thought my alarm had gone off in the morning to wake me up for my morning session and I kept saying to the recovery nurse "Oh I just cant face it today I feel really stiff, I must have overdone the weights yesterday!" She must have thought I was loopy!!
