Maybe they will be once they've healed properly, remember the fluffing!! ;)
You liked them before you were measured and that's what counts zthomas, don't be upset by sizings x x x x

Don't go to m & s as they are awful they put my mum in a 34c and she's a 34e they have no clue she's all natural so I hate to think what they do with ba boobs. I would wait until 6 weeks or more because your body needs to adjust, tissue constricts around the implant from trauma so even at 6 weeks your size can still increase through fluffing. So best not buy too many bras because in a few months they may be too small for you. Don't forget a bra size is just numbers and letters which only you will see, if you are happy with how they look who cares what letter it is. I got a c in gcse English do you care? No. My boobs are a 32f does that matter, not at all. Do they look good in a bikini, Feck yeah! That's all that matters.

Definately don't get 'fitted' into wired bras before you get the all clear from your surgeon, which is generally around the 6 week post op mark.
Getting measured earlier will probably put you in a size/s smaller than you are because the skin/muscle won't have had time to relax yet and in getting fitted to early se've seen many women here get upset at their sizing and then when they officially get the all clear and get a better idea of their sizing they're usually very happy by then.
I had to to wait till I was 12 weeks post-op before I could get fitted and after the 10 mark I could actually feel my boobs were getting bigger in my sports bra. I was actually glad I waited the 12 weeks, I personally felt it gave 'my boobs' enough time for them to settle
I also agree with misf1. A bra size is nothing but a number, focusing on how they look rather than measure is what's going to make you happiest. Xx

Re: Post op did you go to get measured for bras?
I went and got fitted at a little lingerie boutique today as i m allowed to wear wires on tuesday and they were brilliant , the Lady had me try on loads of bras and explained to me how they should fit and I ended up buying a bloody expensive bra but it was so comfy even tho it was Wired it felt like I wasnt wearing a bra and my boobs felt really secure so i m hoping that I dont drop and fluff to quickly as i want this bra to fit forever lol but if u have a shop like that near you would be worth going as this woman really knew her stuff xxx

Re: Post op did you go to get measured for bras?
I'm yet to be measured but in m&s bras seem to be a 36dd and yet a Freya 36e is too big round the back but perfect in the cup...so wouldnt that make me a 34f in a Freya bra? The difference seems ridiculous!xx

Re: Post op did you go to get measured for bras?
Hi girls, this post had been really helpful as I want to make sure when ige mine done I actually have properly fitting bras. I would avoid debenhams like the plague because I went there to get my ribs measured (don't have much to measure lol) and the measuring lady (is this what they call themselves?lol) insisted I keep my triple x gel Atlantis bra on! Silly woman told me I was a d cup! (I'm a small small b). I kept telling her I wasn't and that she was only getting that measurement because of my bra and she just told me not to be silly!!!! Grrgghhh!

Re: Post op did you go to get measured for bras?
Did you try the D and a B cup on Clover and after trying on the two realise it was a B that fitted?
The way the 'fitter' worked with you is the right way hun. It's not their place to request you remove your bra at any time throughout your fitting - Even those at the best lingerie shops would request you leave your bra on. xx
