No work for another week :(
I have been to see my gp this morning as I have been in quite a bit of discomfort at the sides of my boobs and they are hard there. I thought it maybe scar tissue but I have 2 heamatomas-1 either side of each breast. They should go on there own but she said no to going back to work as I shouldn't be lifting anything. My iron levels are still very low so need to carry on taking the iron for at least 2 months!
I know it's for the best as I was worrying about going back to work and if I'm honest with myself I knew I wasn't up to it but I feel so down. I am bored senseless at home and my Hubby has had to change shifts at work so he can take the kids to and from school. Also worrying what my work will say. My boss has been good so far but they tend to bitch behind your back. Oh I could cry with frustration Fed up with feeling crappy, one minute I think things are looking up then pance again. Sorry for the negative post xx

Re: No work for another week :(
sorry to hear that you are feeling down, it is for the best though and hopefully after 3 weeks off you will be fighting fit and raring to get back into the world of work!
i know what you mean about work colleagues being slightly two faced, but dont let it get to you hun, just make the most of being off and taking it easy as im sure you wont get chance when you get back to work.
hope you feel better soon hun xx

Sorry to hear that hun, I was climbing the walls after a week so god knows what your going through. In the grand scheme of things another week off is a small price to pay when it comes to your health.
What about being a domestic godess and baking a cake!!

Re: No work for another week :(
Aww hunny, sorry to hear you're feeling low it's a rollercoaster a ba journey and it can be so frustrating not being able to do everything but just remember your body is healing and will appreciate you taking it easy... You will recover quicker and you don't want to go back and run the risk of doing yourself any damage .. You especially have been through so much...
I'm sure you will find the week will fly by.. Carry on baking I find it therapeutic!
Do you read? Maybe go get a book and relax... And do some indulgent things like paint your nails, put on a face mask, get a pedicure something that requires you being pampered and enjoy it ....
Don't worry about your boss I'm sure he/she is fine with you being off especially as its under doctors orders. X
Chin up hunny hope you feel better soon xxx

Re: No work for another week :(
Really sorry to read this Butterfly
I know how hard it must feel for you right now, but you know it's going to better lovely so look forward to getting things back to normal, cos they will and you are going to get better and don't worry about what they're saying in work, it really doesn't matter does it lovely. They're just words and although it a bummer for your hubby to have to change shifts, at least he has that option there sweetheart and I'm sure that as long as you're OK, that's all that will matter to him .
Hoping things get better for you very soon Butterfly and snding gentle hugs your way.
We're here if you need us, even if it's just for a chat to pass the time, we'll be there xx

Re: No work for another week :(
If your Doctor has given you a note for extra time off then there is nothing they can do hun so don't feel bad about that, it's for your own health which ultimately is much more important!
Take things at your own pace, you'll be better eventually but right now you have to take things steady. Recovery can be incredibly boring and feel a bit like watching paint dry!! See if you can gather some close friends together for some girly time, or start a new TV box set that you haven't seen before. By the time you're back at work you'll be itching for a day off (or is that just me haha).
Happy healing hun, and remember when you're too bored we're here to entertain you!!! xx
