5 week check next week
I'm hoping my surgeon will say I don't have to wear support bras 24/7 cos my sides are so itchy. I keep having to move the bra up to have a scratch!! Don't really want to loosen it too much tho because that's kind of defeating the object of letting them move I suppose. They haven't really moved much tho so maybe I'll have to keep it on?

ooh yeh, It was heaven when I took it off for a shower and let hubby have a good ol' scratch at it! Try and keep it moisturised, it'll help with the itching. Fingers crossed for you!

This is exactly what I'm dreading!! How many days did you have in between your surgery and starting back at work?
I know everyone heals different and has different pain thresholds..
I have 9 days, hope its enough..

We're all different Zoe but day 6 was my turning point in feeling more able... Day 7 I was able to wash my own hair over the bath and have much more arm movements..
Day 9 today and I'm feeling ok, still tying not to hunch and movement isn't back to normal yet but almost, so I think as long as you take it slow, you should be ok :) xx

Re: 5 week check next week
I just took things real easy. First few days I became really tired after doing things but it gradually became easier. I'm at week 4 and still feel it in my pecs when driving and I haven't held the dog lead yet. Not because I can't but because I don't want to upset the recovery. Good luck Zoe x

Have you tried putting paper tape along your creases, it seems to ease the itching from your bra x
