First Consultation?
I've got my first consultation booked for 20th with Transform with PC. Just wondering what happens at this appointment? I'm assuming not much, but how do you choose what surgeon to have first consultation with, I know I want one with either Mr Meleagros, Mr Chantarasak or Mr Nathan, but do they reccomend who would be best for you and what happens next? xx

Re: First Consultation?
Hiya hun.
Congrats on taking the first step.
My Pcc recommended certain surgeons who she new would do what i wanted. Some surgeons are more conservative than others, some prefer to do unders and some overs. I, like you had a few surgeons in mind when i first went so i knew who i wanted to see first.
Your Pcc will guide you through the process, that's what they're paid for.

Re: First Consultation?
You could see 5 different surgeons and they all recommend you have different size implants it would then be your choice to pick the surgeon you feel most comfortable with.
You could take pictures with you of the kind of results you are after so they have an idea of what you want
The surgeon will discuss where you are better off have the implants over or under your muscle

Re: First Consultation?
Patient co-ordinators are basically sales women hun. At your consultation they'll go through which procedure it is that you're wanting and will say they're choosing the surgeon who best suits what you want, but really lovely, they're choosing the surgeon that they either particularly like or who has the next available slot. They don't really have a clue what is best for 'you'.
If you're wanting a consultation with a specific surgeon babe, then request the surgeon you want. You may get the one you want, then again you may be given an excuse for you not to have that one and they can be pretty persuasive in getting you to use the surgeon of 'their' choice. Just keep remembering they are saleswomen! so stick to your guns, no matter how much they try to sway you, just tell them you're not interested unless you can see the surgeon of your choice. They'll soon get you an appointment with your surgeon babe don't you worry. The last thing they want is to lose your 'business'
You may also be tempted with money off deals/discounts that wont be available after the day of your visit - Rubbish. Any discounts they offer will always be there sweetheart so NEVER book on that day.
Never listen to any advice given regarding 'your surgical procedure' from the patient co-ordinator either hun. They have no medical training, the only person who can advise on what is needed to help you achieve the result you want is your surgeon.
I'personally don't see the point in these consultations, I'd rather just go dorect to the surgeon of my choice myself. xx
