odd side affects from anesthesia
Did anyone else suffer from being bloated, constipated, sore throat and mouth ulcers? I'm suffering from these post op and I'm curious if it's because of the op or being run down.

It may be a combination of both hun, an operation takes a lot out of your body!
Bloating and constipation is incredibly common and regularly discussed on here. Try drinking plenty and eating a well balanced diet high in fibre. Prunes are an absolute miracle worker for getting things erm... moving! And if all else fails try a gentle laxative like Movicol.
As for everything else, take it steady and avoid doing anything that takes it out of you. Try to enjoy your recovery and have lots of pamper nights snuggled on the sofa watching films! You'll be better in no time. xx

Yup! Yup! Yup! and No... but do know others that have suffered ulcers afterwards babe.
They're all quite common actually sweetie. Your local pharmacist should be able to prescribe something for the sore throat and ulcers for you as well as the constipation if you feel you need it. I just found Senna was enough for me and the bloating settles all on it's own hun.
The sooner you're up and walking about going to the toilet and the bloating soon subsides. A good diet and lots of water helps too.
You can often feel pretty rubbish after surgery babe, but wind forward a week or two and things will be a whoooolllle lot better then as you begin to feel more like your old self... but now with new boobs!! . xxx

Constipation is the popular one and with that comes the bloating, i was told by my surgeon its caused by the pain killers you are given. You could try a mild laxative like senacot to help xx
