As if I didn't have enough doubts about getting this done. Maybe I am just looking for reasons not to do it. Such a confusing time for me. Sigh

The FDA since taking silicone implants off the market have gone to great lengths to do extensive research and testing to ensure the safety of women having implants before agree to have them FDA approved once again. xbeautifulx.
From all I've read there is no evidence to suggest there is a health risk to us having any silicone implants, except for one which I read about called anaplastic large cell lymphoma, but there are only 60 cases worldwide out of the 5-10 million women having had surgery babe. You can read more [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Of the 6827 members we have here xbeautifulx we've never once heard from anybody with any of the symptoms you pointed out sweetheart.
You'll find if you look hard enough you can find things to worry you about anything lovely, just as you've found here in the regards to having a BA.
I too did extensive research before making what was one of the most important decisions in my life! and could find no solid evidence to stop me going ahead with 'my' surgery and I was 100% comfortable with my decision... still am sweetie, even after reading those links.

Re: The flip side! Possibly?
There are always risks involved in having a BA and it would be very silly of anybody to not consider the possibility of things going wrong. I wouldn't worry about the possibility of silicone coming out of your eyes though, that sounds like a myth to me. A BA is a huge decision and can be very confusing, some women can weigh up the pro's and con's for years before they make a choice whether to go through with it or not.
There is never any rush xbeautifulx and you can do it in your own time. If you don't feel ready now then keep researching until you know for sure whether it's right for you, we're always here for you every step of the way x

It's aways good to know every possibility, and research is the best thing to do.
