Possibly the most stupid question ever.
Feel free to call me stupid
Am i right in thinking that if you buy a 34dd bra, the band should measure 34 inches?

Re: Possibly the most stupid question ever.
Thanx huni's,
I bought 3 shock absorbers size 34dd. Tried one on when i got home and the band was really tight, so i got the tape measure out and they measure 28 inches but tag says 34.
I thought i'd just check with you before i made a fool of myself in the shop lol.

Re: Possibly the most stupid question ever.
I think MrsM is right ,I got a 38E shock absorber and I can barely breathe Dont wear it much as I found them a little too constricting, I mean I know they are supposed to be supportive but they squashed mine a bit too much. they would be great for running but as I do no exercise it does nt matter !!.xx

Burning bras seems to be the topic everywhere this week, I can see us all meeting up in a field with all our bras sitting round a fire chanting then shortly afterwards being driven away by men in white coats, sorry to get off topic lol xx

Re: Possibly the most stupid question ever.
I did try a shock absorber at about 4 weeks I think it was and OMFG the band was so tight I actually swelled up around it, leaving an indentation!!!! I had brought a few and there is no way I'm wearing them ever again, it was nice to be supported so well in the cups but hey !!!!!!! I've been living in macom and Lonsdale ever since, not the most supportive but they are cumfy to me. Xxxxx

Agree. I spend £40 on a shock absorber and hated it.... Spent £7 on a Lonsdale and have lived in it! Xx

Re: Possibly the most stupid question ever.
I didn't wear a bra the first week, afte that I wore the Londsdale and Macom bras for a few days. But I NEEDED to wear level 4 Shock Abosorbers. Nothing else supported my breast like these bras do, the band feels tight at first, but it does loosen. I didn't have any swelling around my back by the time I wore it though. You can buy bra extenders, so if you do have swelling these will do until your swelling around your back goes down. As much as SA were my favourite during the day, I preferred the Macom at night though since I didn't need the impact support xxx
