Probably a stupid question..
But can i have a bath before my 6 weeks?
I dont usually have them but i could kill to relax in one right now. Just thought i'd ask because i know you cant go swimming. Not sure that's because of exercising your muscles or soaking your scars?

Re: Probably a stupid question..
I wasn't allowed a bath till after 6 weeks post-op. I was told I could have a bath but not to fully submerge my breasts in the water.
Best to give your own clinic a call sweetheart and check with them.
Remember if you do anything outside of what the clinic want for you and you suffer any problems, your aftercare then becomes null and void. xx

Re: Probably a stupid question..
I was never told I could not bath or swim (except in the first week, of course).
Its strange how PS advice varies so much.
I would take Cookie's advice & check with your clinic, in that case.

Ah, i'll stick to a shower for tonight then. Shall give them a call tomorrow morning.
I was told i could only shower the first week and then my nurse told me to soak in the bath to get off my strips but nothing was said after that Just not to swim.
Thanks for the answers girls x

Re: Probably a stupid question..
Was told I could bath or shower 2 weeks post op. Told not to use any soap or shower gel directly on the scars.
Please follow the advise of your surgeon - we've all made a huge investment in our new boobies and we should look after them.

I agree hun, I wasn't allowed to soak in the bath for 6 weeks either, but I could have shallow baths if I wanted.
