night sweats
Ladies! Please tell me this is normal!
The past couple of nights, I have been sweating like mad during the night. Pre-BA, I would sometimes sweat at night, depending if hubby had his arms around me the whole night or not.
But the past 2 nights, I have tried sleeping w/o a shirt on, just my sports bra on, but I'd end up waking drenched w/ sweat in between my boobs. I cover myself up w/ a blankie before going to bed coz it's just too cold w/o a blankie (and I can't sleep w/o something covering my arms ) But no matter how cold I feel before going to sleep, I wake up in the middle of the night sweating!
What's wrong w/ me?! Has this happened to anyone before?

Re: night sweats
I get night sweats but I don't think they're related to my BA as i've always had them.
M boyfriend jokes that I wrap myself in ALL the covers like a cucoon as I'm going to sleep, then randomly at some point in the night I wake him up by thrashing and kicking until the covers are all over the floor. But from my side of things I'm always super hot at night regardless of how cold it is (as you say!)! I have a ceiling fan in my room and in the summer have a fan on the shelf next to me but it doesn't seem to help.
If someone has a cure to this i'd be really interested!

Thanks mariaelaina! Good to know I'm not the only one! I think it also has something to do with the material of my sports bra! I don't think its 100% cotton, which is why it makes me sweat more than usual!
I LOVE your new avi hun! xx

Thanks hun! But since I live in Dubai and with 40 deg. celsius weather (104 farenheit), having the window open might make me sweat 3xs more! Hehehe...

I forgot you were in Dubai! Your night sweats are justified! I think I'd die overnight in Dubai if I'm this bad in England!
Re: night sweats
And thanks for the compliment! That was my first time in underwires...its amazing what a good bra can do!
Re: night sweats
Do you have air-con sweetie?
If not then maybe a fan directed at you will help with the sweats. I think you notice sweating more with boobs to be honest. The cleavage and the creases get really sweaty and for me it's not something I like at all, so notice it more.
I never had a cleavage before or a good crease so it was all new, possibly the same for you too?
If you're overly concerned though icecream, do give your surgeon a quick call and ask their advice. xx

Re: night sweats
When i had my post op check i was so embarrassed because i took off my bra and my boobs were super sweaty, my ps just shrugged and said it's happens to a lot of people. Apparently the stretching either dries out your skin or it starts over compensating and getting oily/sweaty. I don't think the bras help much either! Sadly, i suffer from acne so i've been showering twice a day in the desperate hope that my boobs stay clear.

I also found the same...seems to have calmed down now though and back to normal, I put it down to having a sports bra and usually an elastic strap around the girls! It would randomly just be my cleavage that would be sweaty to the point of being soaked though....no other part of my body!

Re: night sweats
I used to get the odd night sweat pre-ba but have had them more frequently the past week and a bit, im still healing though so know my body is in overdrive trying to get 'fixed' so that can sometimes be the case, when you get any kind of sick the body tends to sweat more to cleanse and burn any bacteria etc so maybe its a good thing! even though you wake up stuck to the sheets feeling gross ha its awful isn it! but you arent alone with this at least x
