I was under the impression sleeping on your back was only for bringing the swelling down? Xx

Re: I cannot go another night..
At just 4 days post-op I should imagine you're a little too early just year to be sleeping on your side lovely and should have at least your one week check to ensure your healing is going well before considering it hun - sorry :(
Are you doing all the things to help ease the discomfort?
Pillow under your knees, a pillow under each arm, a rolled towel in the smal of your back, or you could pop a hot water hotel in the towel, someone mentioned buying heat patches that you can place on your skin that you can buy from the chemist which a re a wonderful idea for placing on your back babe.
Really hoping it eases up for you hun. It really is horrible when you just can't sleep for the discomfort. Xx

I'm really struggling with sleeping on my back, my PS told me I would need to sleep on my back for at least 3 months, I have found myself waking up on my side, not sure how I've managed it as use V pillow and loads of normal pillows.

Re: I cannot go another night..
No he told me I had to sleep raised for 2 weeks then I could lay flat but had to stay on my back. I think he said its because I have anatomicals and it gives them a bit of extra time to adhere to the pockets?? I'm also in a sports bra for at least 3 months aswell because they are anatomicals. Although some women don't have to wear one at all for 6 weeks. But every surgeon is different x you should probably ring your clinic on Tuesday and see what they say? I'm finding that it's my legs that are hurting sleeping on my back, I've tried pillows under my bum, legs, lower back and nothing seems to help x but try the hot water bottle, I might try that myself x anything is worth a go lol!
