Are there more risks or higher risks having overs rather than unders as ive read there are, I actually think id prefer overs but having read the chances of complications are greater if your slim and in general it put me off :(

From what I was told, overs are fine for people with a decent amount of breast tissue, they can also be softer and easier to get into a cleavage. Unders are firmer and harder to get into a cleavage, but it can still be done. Skinny people with little breast tissue having overs means a much bigger chance of rippling, and overs generally sag quicker as there's no muscle holding the implant down. <-- this is what I was told, it makes sense x

There are pro's and con's with either placement. It really depends what is better suited to YOUR body. I really would discuss it further with your surgeon and get his opinion on which will be better for you. It's a big decision to make and complications can occur with either placement.

I was always anti-overs because I worried I wouldn't get a natural result, my PS explained to me WHY overs would be better for ME. I'm now post-op and 100% happy I went with his advice. At the end of the day you are paying for your surgeon's knowledge and skills... He should help you come to a decision. X

Are there more risks with overs? 1978086825 I agree. xx

The best placement for YOU babe is going to be the one that best fits your body, we're each very different and what is right for woman, may not be right for another even if they have exactly the same stats.

Going through the pros and cons with your surgeon will really help you with making a decision that's going to be right for you lovely. xx

Hey 2nd time, I have unders as well and they're super soft and I get a good cleavage (the avi is from 3 months Post Op - a year later they're even softer!)
so I think you can get it with both - it all depends on your body!!

And what a spectacular cleavage you have Alexandra Boobs I agree with you I think it must be how your body is and a good surgeon will know whether over or unders are the right choice. I never even questioned my surgeon as I thought he must know best xx

The amount of cleavage naturally achieved after a BA is determined by the cleavage gap you have pre-BA, so that would always need to be taken into consideration. The size of implant can make a difference to close the gap for someone with a wide cleavage but this must be considered carefully to avoid the possibility of symmastia. xx
