Sports Bra questions Empty Sports Bra questions

1st off sorry for opening a new thread on sports bras as I know there are several but I thought I may not get as much response if I post on an old one!
Ok so im now looking at buying my bras for post op.
Did U have a bra that slipped over ur head or fastened at the back (I expect the latter is easiest to get on) the majority I am finding are over the head jobbies!
My nxt query is did U buy sports bras by cup sizes as im on sports direct and they tend to come in clothes sizes rather than cup sizes eg 8, 10, 12 etc rather than 34d etc. These bras tend to be more crop top bras rather than actual 'support each boob individually' bra. Would this be enough support?
If the above type of bra is sufficient then what clothes size would U say an E and F cup is... 14?
can anyone recommend a place to buy cheap bras?
Thank U chicks for any advice U can offer xxx

I'd definitely go for one that closes at the back or front - I had an over the head one and I thought I was going to have to cut myself out of it initially LOL. M&S do fantastic front closing ones (so I've heard).

Also ensure your sports bra is designed for "high impact" activities, anything else wont give you adequate support which may lead to complications.

eBay sell really cheap shock absorbers but they're generally unreturnable. Get a few sizes (including some with a larger band than you usually wear). Keep the tags and recipts and then return or exchange them after your op x

I agree with Alice, choosing a bra that goes over head will be VERY difficult to get on because you will be unable to lift your arms early post-op. The M&S front zip bras fab, I used one myself and would highly recommend them. From the women recently who have tried to get one though, it seems the M&S stores don't don't have them in stock but they are available to buy online, so if you wanted to buy one instore you may find you have to request customer service order your size in for you, which isn't a problem for them so you'll be able to buy instore that way Sports Bra questions 184153 xx

I got total support bras rather than sports bras post op as I was advised by my surgeon to get a bra with "clearly defined cups". There was lots of support bras to chose from in M&S but managed to get a good one for just £7 in Bon Marche
