Breast Cancer Clinic.
So i went to the clinic today for the nurse to go through my history.
They said i have normal likley moderate unlikley as i have so little family.
But as neather of my nans has had the big C its looking good!!! :)
Thankyou for your support girls at a time when i have been so nervous about the outcome!!
This means there is now nothing standing in the way of my BA apart from my own fear!!! :)
I seem to have found this fear today when i found out that hopefully (touch wood) i have the same risk as any other girl of getting BC lolol
Was everyone else terrified of having their BA but new its what they realy realy wanted????

Re: Breast Cancer Clinic.
I hope you feel a little happier now :o)
I think we all feel the fear at times and it's a fear of the unknown. No matter how much we read about something or how certain we are about somethIng, there's always a little part of us that thinks 'what if'!
It's quite normal I'm assured :o)
Take it easy hun xx

This is wonderful news I'm very relieved for you!!!
It's natural to get worried hun, as this is elective surgery we are the ones who make the decision for something we don't 'need' for our physical health, but that doesn't mean we don't 'need' it for our mental health and general well being .... I'm sure so many women can stand up and say now that their BA has been life changing. If this is something you want then go for it, there are risks but there are risks in anything we do! A life half lived isn't a life worth living so do whatever it is that makes you happy X
