Clinic or private? Empty Clinic or private?

Just wondering what most people prefer....... To go through a company or private straight to a surgeon? What's the difference from the two? Apart from you speak to the surgeon instead of through a nurse or someone else first.

I didn't know that you could go straight to a surgeon and do it that way. Are the prices pretty much the same?

So much to consider my brain is frazzled!! xx

The difference is usually in the aftercare clinics usually buy everything in bulk so get bigger discounts meaning they can offer longer aftercare packages if things go wrong. Private surgeons will usually work for a clinic or two as well as on their own.

Hey. My surgeon direct was nearly 1500 MORE! I would have gotten some kind of similar after care but I'd of had to pay for revisions & re-op hospital costs bar his service. So I'd have to pay for the implant, theatre hire, anaesthetic, meds, anaesthetist & other staff. Wasn't worth it imo :)

The surgeon I looked into doing this with, there wasn't much in the price but no where near the aftercare that the larger companies offer. I ended up going with transform in the end xx

I went with a clinic and because they went into administration my aftercare was void.
My next op I would consider going straight to the surgeon as then I could have surgery locally instead of having to do lots of travelling. Xx
