Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Awww lady V don't worry sweet, most of us can go through this, you're probably experiencing something called boobie blues!
Right now you are soooo early post op this isn't what you will finish as! They have so many changes to go through that they'll be barely recognisable by the finished product. It can take about 6 months to a year for them to fully settle, this is the part where you have to take it with a pinch of salt and try to be patient I'm afraid.
Have you seem any girl's picturetrails? They can be a huge help so you can see changes... Mine are all really quite early PO and I haven't updated in weeks but even so you can have my password and check it out if you like.. I went through a wonky boobie phase but they've evened out so don't be afraid haha.
Don't focus on anything such as size, softness, cleavage or shape etc for now... Focus on healing! In time they will drop and fluff but for now you just have to be patient!
Oh and treat yourself to some chocolate and a nice film to ease those boobie blues!!! x

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Firstly... dont panic sweetie
What you're looking at now, is nothing like the result you're going to have. Your boobs need time to drop, settle and heal and within this time there will be MANY changes, so don't judge your new boobs just yet sweetheart, you've a long way to go through your recovery before you see your result. xx

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Aww sweetpea,
I always think there is so much swelling therefore your boobs have not much definition making them feel like a small handful. When that goes down they kinda develop more, and like Alice says what you got now is nothing like what they'll end up as. It's understandable that we can't see past what they look like now, but they'll flourish! I promise ya!
Don't be blue ladyV :( xx

Aw hun you have a big case of boobie blues, but the good news is you will feel better soon. Your boobs will change so much over the next weeks and months, they won't look like they do now. You have to give them some time to heal, settle, drop and maybe fluff. But for now you just have to get through the boobie blues stage and try to forget your boobs and treat yourself, pamper yourself or sit and watch a nice film and eat take out, anything to make you feel better.
Re: :( Don't like new boobs

Hi Lady V. When I had my pips replaced 8 weeks ago with same size implants I remember looking down at them and being really disappointed that they looked smaller than before but believe me when I say a few weeks later almost over night they got bigger. In fact I am now an E where I was a DD before, baring in mind they are same size implants So dont despair hun, like the girls have said its really early days and they have a lot of settling to do.xx

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Hi honey
I with you girl!! If you look back about a couple of weeks ago, you will see I posted something almost exactly the same......Im only 3 and a half weeks post op and I feel totally different already!
I actually woke up on the table feeling like you and when I got back from recovery, I asked the nurse to close the door to my room and just burst into tears........I thought they were way too wee, I was taking into account the swelling and I just thought "OMG, ive just paid all that money for nothing!!!
Im not just saying this to make you feel better hun.......I promise Im so happy with mine......they are perfect for my size. I couldnt push them together at all in the first week to get a cleavage, but now I can see with the right bra, I will soooo get a cleavage......dont get me wrong, I wont naturally have one, but I always had a bit of a gap anyway, so thats the way it is.....they have softened and Ive tried on my bikini and some other bras and wow wow wow.........
You will feel so different in a few weeks huni........keep the faith!
xx

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Aw big Hun, this is totally normal as a previous post said it does sound like the boobie blues. What your looking at now is not what you will have for the rest of your life, you have so so s many changes to go through, they are going to change daily until probably a year down the line. Keep your chin up things will look brighter x

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Remember that you're also probably feeling tired and low, and sore and swollen and frustrated because you lose a little independence post op, and so may be resting on the negative. It'll pass. You're going to go through so many changes in the coming weeks but don't worry, you've got all of us here to help you through. Those knockers are gonna look fab

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Hey lovely fingers crossed you're feeling better now about your boobies! Rome wasn't built in a day... just be patient and think in a couple of months you'll be looking down thinking yay my boobs are awesome.
I'm pre-op - should be having my op in 2 weeks so I'm sure I will be feeling the same soon and I will be asking you TONS of questions. I want my boobies now!!
Welshvicci123 I love your boobs in your avatar!! Could I ask what size you were to begin with? And did you have overs or unders?
xx

LadyV picturetrail is a website that most of use to upload our photos. The girls that have offered to show you pictures will tell you their usernames which you enter into the top right search box of the page, and then when the page loads for their photo albums you type their password in to see the photos.

I'm sure you're going to be fine hun, most girls seem to have been through this stage of feeling down in their recovery, if you read some of the BA diaries you will see how that mindset changes just as their boobs do!

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Oh I'd also recconebd setting up your own picturetrail, to create albums of photos during your healing process.
Then in a couple of weeks/months time you'll be able to compare the photos and see the development in stages. X

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
Honey, this is all a normal part of the healing process. Dont forget youve had major surgery and your body and mind will be all over the show. The GA contributes to you feeling down also, as do the pain meds. Give them time honey, you're still in the very early stages, your boobies have a long way to go yet xx

Re: :( Don't like new boobs
I can't really add any more to what's already been said. I started my own picturetrail and took photos every week for the first few months, then when you get that moment when your feeling down and think you will never have the perfect boobies just look back over the pictures - it's amazing how much they do change but unless you capture that picture to look back at you won't realise it. When I look back now at my early photos compared to my boobies now it's hard to imagine that they are the same pair.
