Re: 1 week to go
ABSOLUTELY! I think the majority if women having have a natural flow of nerves right before our BAs and a whole ton of stuff starts running through your mind. But it is only the 'pre-op jitters' nothing more babe.
I see you've just read altw's story, these stories have such a great impact on how we feel and the more stories you read, the more the nerves get replaced by excitement babe.
This last week when you look back after having your your BA is going to be one of the best times of your life, aside from actually waking to your new boobs, so enjoy it lovely, it's a time you're never going to forget.
You're getting new boobs next week! YAYYYYY!

Re: 1 week to go
Aw honey I think I lost about 7lbs leading up to my BA as I was so nervous I couldn't eat anything I was that scared!
It was all I thought about, dreamt about and talked about and the day of the op I was a nervous wreck. You're not alone, but it really is fear of the unknown.
The surgery stories on here were a massive help to me, not only because it helped me prepare myself for what was to come, but because every story was extremely positive and reassuring.
You'll be fine sweetie, nerves are completely normal! X

Re: 1 week to go
I felt really nervous too the week before, getting strange dreams and being on this website every spare minute reading and re reading the stories section.
Re: 1 week to go
The stories beyond a doubt helped me :) you really have nothing at all to worry about.... And I'm the girl who passed out having her ears pierced so you know it means something coming from me!!
Just try to enjoy every second and when the going gets tough and you start questioning everything just think about why you want it done and how absolutely amazing you will feel after!
It's worth everything so give the worrying thoughts the cold shoulder as much as you can because before you know it you're waking up with perfect boobies and a great big smile!!! xx

Re: 1 week to go
I think you should be fine lovely.
Coming down with a cold right before surgery is very common sweetness, it's usually down to stress on the build to your BA.
You'll have finished your meds a couple of days before your surgery, but just to be on the safe side, I'd call your clinic and inform them of the date you finish taking the anti-b's so the surgeon and your anaethetist are aware. You're usually given a course of anti-B's right after surgery, so I'm sure they'd want to know and you get your reassurance too that all will be just fine. xx
