I asked him about a uplift and he said

Hi Dawn

If you want an uplift we need to go smaller as otherwise it would not make any sense. uplifting an heavy breast doesn't work. It drops quickly again. With the scars, this time.
If we choose to go larger with the implant, it is not an option to stitch the pocket inside as well. As there wouldn't be sufficient space for the implant to go.

why do they choose over or under muscle, does it just go in how much boobie flesh there is lol? i have overs, but dont know whether unders better for me, but he hasnt mentioned unders so probably not something i should be thinking about lol

The placement is down to how much overall body fat you have and also how much breast tissue you have to cover the implant Dawn. If you have enough to cover the implant than going over the muscle is a less invasive surgery that will give you a natural look to suit 'your' body shape babe. xx

i have plenty of fat generally lol so overs it is then. :) the surgeon didnt say nothing regards to my little lumps thou

I shouldn't imagine they're anything of concern Dawn, like I've said previously your GP would have acted upon them if there was any possibility at all it of them being something sinister. Its possible it's as your GP said and just fibrous tissue, possibly having been disturbed by the implant flipping. If you're still concerned about that though maybe bring it back up with your surgeon lovely. xx

so you think maybe i should stop worrying i do suffer with health anxiety which is a battle but didnt stop me having my BA done, couldnt resist lol both doctors who looked said fibroadenomas, one said if it doesnt settle they will send me to get checked, the other doctor who i always see said it is fine and i dont need to get checked (as he knows what i am like with anxiety) xx

I am well excited to be getting new implants but i am also scared that it wont happen, think as it seems too good to be true i am expecting it not to happen, like i am thinking i bet those lumps in my boob will stop me having my bigger implants, boo hoo i am a moaner lol

I remember a while back you were wondering if you should have gone bigger since you weren't entirely happy with the results. Maybe in a weird way this is a mixed blessing, though I know it may not seem like this right now, you get to have your bigger boobs xxx

im well chuffed for bigger boobs whooooo i am just worrying about my booby lumps, i deep down think they are nothing as i noticed they are in both boobs around the same area as each other, but its that you think there is something round the corner to take my balloon boobs away from me so the only thing that can stop it going ahead is something wrong with me, but yay to big boobies if they come my way xxx

Are you sure it's not the implants you're feeling? I can feel mine more on one side, sometimes it's quite easy to feels as lumps if I've been wearing certain bras. I can feel it above my incision xxx

my areas of concern to me are like gristle both boobs on the inner lower area on both boobs, bottom cleavage area but away from the scars, i can only feel it if lying down but cant feel it when standing doing a check

Its hard for those of us when things go wrong, but there is some good that can come out of it babes and for the majority of us, we're mostly all very happy with our re-op results.

Just a thought about your lumps.... are you hormonal at all? I know when I'm hormonal my boobs get lumpy. Just a thought sweetness. xx

Hiya i went back to doctors about lumps and he said they have to send me breast clinic to be checked and that its something they have to do rather than any concern, i went before my holiday, the gristle area was nothing, nothing come on scan so there is nothing there so no concern, they was more looking at my fibrodenoma as its grown from 3 to 4 cm in 6 years, and i havent had a biopsy on it they just said 6 years ago from scan that it was a fibrodenoma, but this time they decided to do biopsy to be safe and they rang me on holiday to say its a fibrodenoma, so that is great, but the man i saw said he doesnt know they can grow and attach to implants and cause problems so suggested taking it out at some point, so under 2 weeks and i have my re op for bigger boobs lol
