Hi ladies. I'm nearlly 3 weeks post op now and I've had a chest binder on. Tried a 32e sports bra and I feel squashed....should it fit like that or should I go for a 32 f. I'm worried as I don't want to wear the wrong size and cause any problems

Thanks

Hi Pinkdaisy, best thing to do to ensure your new additions are comfy and well supported is to get professionally measured. you'll probably find that your no longer a 32 band. can't wait until Im 3 weeks post op. want to feel normal again!!

Your breasts shouldn't feel 'squashed' as such babe, the bra should feel very snug and supported without being 'uncomfortable', so if you're breasts are feeling squashed into the cup then yes, a cup size or 2 might make all the difference to you hun. xx

There's absolutely no reason why you would go up a band size once your post op swelling goes down. It's the cup size that's too small, going up a cup size or two like cookie suggested should do the trick. Sounds like the 32f is better for you than the 32e, you need to be very well supported but comfortable xxx

Hi ladies been for another check up. The bra I have finally got fits good. But I've noticed my boobs hurt a little bit when there in a sports bra but when I take it off it goes away could this be pressure xxx also I see a lot of girls wearing lonsdale bras are they good? Xxx

I've had enough of wearing my sports bra by the end of the day, and can't wait to take it off. I wear a Macom bra to sleep, it's more comfy. The Londsdale one doesn't support as well as the Shock Absorber, and can ride on the incisions. However, I find it's nice to not wear the same bra all the time for comfort, and since it's a low cut sports bra I can wear it with certain clothes, like on a night out, I couldn't do this with Shock Absorbers.

I've just put my Macom and SA in the wash, and am now wearing a Lonsdale. If you do buy this one, I think you'll find that because it has stretch cups, it's much less confining than SA. I'm glad to be wearing my Lonsdale today, it feels like a relief, though I wouldn't wear it when I'm running around personally xxx

Yea I have a shock absorber. I love the fit of it I was just a little concerend about the pain when I touched my boobs I still have a little swelling but nothing much. I think its maybe pressure from the bra supporting me I don't feel sdquashed though which is good. Im getting most of my sensation back now and I'm get a bit sensertive to certain clothes. Yea a SA is terrible to put with clothes. I didn't realise how many of my clothes I can't wear becuase you can see the bra lol xx
