I think that they should have put you first on the list like they said they would do. Then, like Roxanne said you won't be left all day long to think over the whole thing. Next time will be different, I think you will know what to expect and Mr Hassan has promised you will be 1st so fingers crossed that's what is gonna happen. The anxiety of the day made your bp even higher I think, naturally. How you doin today? Better? X

roxanne - so pleased all went well for you. It didn't help that I was kept waiting. I couldn't believe I felt so chilled but my bp was so high.

loobs - I'm going back to work today. I don't want to waste my holidays. I've felt down all weekend cos I know my bp is back to normal and I should be sat here resting with new boobs. A couple of people at work knew I was having a BA and I've already told them that I've not had it done. I hope no one mentions it xx

I'm so sorry to hear that hun, you definitely should have been one of the first on the list, unfortunatley these things can happen in life but you have to get up dust yourself off and start again...frustrating as it may be, at least you know that you will have them within 6 weeks. Mr hassan is brilliant and im sure he was just as much dissapointed as you were.

welshvicci123 - Yes Mr Hassan was disappointed. I've spoken to my pcc today and asked how I got on at the docs. I told her my bp was normal when I went to see my gp (unbelievable!). So, we think it is white coat syndrome. I've told her I have a monitor and that I've been checking my bp all weekend and this morning and it was normal. She's asked me to take reading every morning and evening this week, to also see the nurse at my docs to have bp checked and call her on Thursday with the results. Fingers crossed I won't have to wait too long to get my new boobies xx

I had 24 hr blood pressure monitor on this week and my blood pressure is fine so it's white coat syndrome. The nurse at my gp printed off the results, I faxed straight to my pcc straight away. Hoping to hear from her on Tuesday with the hope I can book my op again xx

I'm getting very impatient now as my pcc hasn't called me back. Just tried to call again but no answer this time. All I want to know is if it's ok to book a date again, arghhhh !!!

Can you book anyhow, and then ask her to phone you back? Surely someone else is there to book for you, just explain your situation.

The girl on reception knows who I am cos I've spoken to her a lot re. my bp etc. I just called again and she said that my pcc said she will call me when she knows anything. I will call again tomorrow and if no luck I will stamp my feet lol

I'd ring them. By this stage I'd be all "I'd rather hold, because you keep saying you'll ring me back and you don't"

It takes no time for them to book you back in! What on earth is the problem?!!
