Aurora - Yes I'm in overnight. My bp was up when I got here. My eldest is with me so she's destracting me. We are both lay on the bed, tv on, me with gown, paper pants and stockings on, Sams wearing my paper hat lol

It seems crazy they wanted you there so early if you are an overnight, ah well guess the sooner you are there the sooner they know your op is going ahead.

At least you are not on your own.

Hi all, my bp is high so don't know what's happening at the moment. The anaethetist been into see me. He's coming back when he's done the next op. Trying not to get stressed. Will keep u informed xx

Concentrate on slowing your breathing - have you done yoga and know the breathing exercises? It might help?
I guess it might be that you must be starving and that you have been waiting ages - fingers crossed for you xxx

To be honest I'm not hungry. My mouth feels like the bottom of a budgie cage cos I'm dry. The anaethetist let me have some water at 2.30. All I've been doing is lying down xx

Ladies I'm gutted. My ops been cancelled because my bp is too high. ive got to go back to my gp and maybe increase my meds even though my bp was stable. I've got to wait 6 weeks with good bp readings then come back.

Mr Hassan and the anaethetist were lovely. The said they'll make sure I'm first next time. Gutted !!! xx

I know my health is priority. Mr Hassan and the anaethetist were lovely. I'm not disappearing. Damn blood pressure!!

The anaethetist said he will make sure I'm first on the list next time xx
