I sent the results of my 24 bp monitoring. My pcc looked at them and said she would speak to the nurse there and make sure all ok. The nurse at my gp said my readings were normal. Whether they're waiting to hear from the anaesthetist I don't know but if the nurse there says the readings are fine surely they can give me a date. Arghhhhhh !!!!

Right, I've just called. Now I've been told that the nurse there is off sick. They always send results off for the anaesthetist to review them. Apparently he does all of this on a Thursday, soooooo I've got to wait another day at least. I did say I'm sorry to be a pain but I want to book. These boobs better be worth it lol xx

My pcc called just before lunchtime to say that the anaesthetist has given the go ahead. He's asked for her to also send Mr Hassan the results. I asked if there were a slot in April, she said yes but no bed available. I told her to prop me up in a cupboard lol I've been penciled in for 10 May, so that's four weeks today all being well xx

I am good honey, I managed my first 5km close to my previous times today so feeling very pleased with myself and happy I can now start working on shifting the little bit of weight I put on and then losing the rest of what I wanted to lose :-)

Aurora - I've put 6lb on and feel crap. I'm comfort eating I think lol.

dizzydi66 - I'm hoping this 4 weeks will fly by. It did last time.

If the anaesthetist has ok'd my op I'm sure Mr Hassan will. I need to book time off work again so need to get everything confirmed. Good job I have a good boss

It's not surprising you are comfort eating after all you have been through, now you have your date you can be careful again and the weight will soon drop off again. I am up to 10st so minus the implant weight I have put on 5lbs - ultimate goal is 9st including the implants so 14lbs to go!!
