Re: Telling people
Ive told my boyfriend who is SOOO supportive he's lovely, and one of my best friends who has had a BA herself about 4 years ago so obviously she's really supportive about it too! Ive also told my mam who really doesn't want me to go through with it but has agreed to come with me for my consultation on wednesday lol... and my dad has no idea, i really dont know what to do about telling him. he really helped me out by paying off one of my credit cards last year and I was paying him back monthly, but now im jobless and not paying him anything until i get another job (interview tomorrow, fingers crossed!) AND ive gone and got my loan in boob job preparation, so he's bound to see it as a big slap in the face dreading him knowing. i might actually try to just keep it from him to spare his feelings? hmmm!

Re: Telling people
Nice one Barbiegirl. Definately going to remember the retort about childbirth!
My OH & some close friends know. I haven't told my family, and no one has noticed (lived in padded bras for years).
I think if people at work don't need to know then don't tell them. Its a professional line that doesn't need to be crossed. My HR manager knows and that's it (mainly because of random D&A testing - tramadol in my system would have raised a few eyebrows). I'm one of very few women at my workplace, so think it would only cause me problems later in my career.
