Question.... Empty Question....

Post by FinallyBB 23rd February 2012, 1:06 am

I am now 6 months post op and I was doing my daily routine workout today and I felt a pull under my right breast. Now it hurts when I move a certain way. It feels like I pulled something within the crease incision on the inside. I hope I didn't do any damage. I am hoping I just over did it and pulled a small muscle or incision and will heal quickly. Has anyone experienced this? At six months times, shouldn't I be pretty much healed by now?

Thanks for any info gals!

does sound like youve pulled the muscle there. its goin to be super-sensitve for quite a while I think. If you are worried cos its hurting more than pain killers are helping with then id suggest you ring your PS's team, if only to put your mind at ease. And mybe an ice pack till it feels better? Am sure you'll be fine Question.... 571992

I seriously doubt you have pulled or popped a stitch, unless something was made too tight during the operation....but it really sounds more like you've pulled a muscle. Try icing it, 15 mins on 15 mins off and resting for 2 days...don't make that move that hurts it - consider it like a pulled muscle anywhere else and give it a chance to heal.

Of course, if you're really worried, call your clinic, since thats why we pay the big bucks!!

I am really not sure what I did, but when I run or they bounce it pulls on something. I know it is exactly on the incision line under my right breast. It isn't extremly painful, just concerning to me since I haven't felt this before. Situps or anything that puts strain on that area seems to aggravate it.

Thanks for all your great adviceQuestion.... 48411
