CC question
how soon can you tell if you have CC?
my left boob seems tighter and harder and alot more painful than my right one,
i am only 5 days post op and i am left handed that might have something to do with it
ive been thinking about it all day and doing the massages but they don't seem to be working and the massages seem to make it more painful and harder.
i wish my left boob would just feel like my right!! i have complete use of my right arm today, something i have not been able to do for 5 days and it was amazing. now if only my left boob would cooperate so i can use both my arms again and not feel like a trex anymore!!!! but im scared thats not going to happen

Re: CC question
Your surgeon will monitor your recovery periodically and if you are overly concerned about anything you should maybe contact them to take a look earlier for you...
In saying that, you're just 5 days post-op, it's absolutely normal to have one breast healing differently to the other and to feel tight, hard and sore, so for now I would just relax babe, unless like I said you become overly concerned.
I had one breast higher and harder than the other for a while and kept my surgeon informed of my progress at each appointment, ensuring my concerns were doccumented' each time... at 6 weeks when there was no budging this baby I was advissed then to massage, this really helped my breast to drop, but if you have textured implants only massage if instructed to do so by your surgeon.
CC can develop very early in the recovery, but if managed can sometimes be resolved... you're recovery sounds perfectly normal to me though babe. xx

Not always Jen, for some women with CC it can sadly result in a re-op, the patient would then need a full capsulectomy and implant change to resolve the CC. xx
