How long must we sleep in a bra? Empty How long must we sleep in a bra?

Hi everyone

Do any of you have an opinion or know for sure how long we have to sleep in bras post-op? I know surgeons tell us to compress the new boobs for a few weeks (mine says 4 weeks 24/7), but after that can we let them out? Is the nightime bra to help implants stay in the right place? Reduce swelling? Prevent damage? I'd find it easier to comply with grace if I knew why.

I love to sleep in the buff and wearing a nightime bra is getting old very quickly How long must we sleep in a bra? 221105

Thanks in advance How long must we sleep in a bra? 321562

I liked wearing a vest top with an extra lining in it (like a shelf bra inside the vest?) that was great because it was supported but not bound.

I was allowed to go braless at night after 6 weeks, but TBH I still like the feeling of having them "coralled" at night LOL

I was told 6 weeks but to be honest I am not looking forward to not having them supported. I love sleeping in my MaCom bra.

Oooh sleeping in a vest with a boob shelf is an ace idea! I am SO constricted by this post-surgical bra and strap and honestly am finding it about the worst part of the recovery process - especially in bed. Sure hope it's doing some good!!!

I was allowed to do what I wanted from 4 weeks post op, but I still sleep in a soft cup bra even now, just because I feel more supported and like I'm not going to do any damage with I'm out to it!
